Bitchelle gets a call from the doctor, who says that Soul Patch is out of surgery and should fully recover. She sighs, relieved, closing her eyes and letting uncensored joy flit across her face for a second before regaining her game face. The doctor thinks Tony might wake up in an hour or so. "I'll be there, thank you," Bitchelle breathes. As soon as she hangs up, Chappelle appears. Is he stalking her? She does look rather fetching in her cleavage shirt. "Soul Patch is going to be okay," she says, allowing a small smile. "That's good news," Chappelle says, leaning in and giving Bitchelle the stiffest, coldest hug. It's kind of funny, and Bitchelle looks completely startled by it, especially considering that Soul Patch once locked up and repeatedly drugged Chappelle to buy Kiefer some time. Chappelle switches the conversation back to work; Bitchelle assures him that they sent alerts down into Mexico, but the FAA is being difficult, so they haven't been able to seal off all the local airfields. Chappelle suggests looking at regular air traffic patterns in the area and see if today's show any anomalies. "Good idea," she nods, still a little weirded out by the hug, which cast a strange vibe over the rest of the conversation.
Bitchelle calls Adam to ask where Crystal Gael is. "Tech one. We're headed there," he says. Bitchelle wants them to send Crystal to her. Then she puts down the phone, checks around to make sure no one's watching, and allows herself another happy sigh. Good scene for her.
Crystal is sitting in front of his multiple computer screens, blocking frequencies and spying on the Hartmano jet and playing Dope Wars. Something beeps, so he checks a monitor and sees that Spawn and Adam are headed into the room. "I'll get back to you," he says to Capitano Cocaine, and swiftly tries to hide all the spy windows open on his machine. "Crystal, Bitchelle needs to see you in her office," Adam says as he leads Spawn to a machine. Crystal gets all territorial and snits that he can do whatever Spawn is supposed to be doing, and ten times faster. I know a one-eyed drunk monkey with brain damage who could say the same. "Bitchelle needs to see you now," Adam says pointedly. Crystal looks annoyed and leaves in a surly huff, because he is a horrible mole -- so bad that even Spawn notices something's amiss, and watches him go. You can see her brain struggle to process this, like the hamster finally stopped doing keg stands and is trying to stumble his way onto the wheel and run on it without vomiting. Suddenly she notices a prompt on his machine: "Are you sure you want to quit?" At 06:48:08, we smash to black wondering if Spawn's on the verge of doing something useful, and figuring we shouldn't get our hopes up.
