About This Archive

This is a historical archive of Television Without Pity (TWoP), a website that operated from approximately 1998 to 2014, known for its witty, detailed recaps and sharp critical commentary on television shows.

TWoP began as "Dawson's Wrap" (later "Mighty Big TV") before adopting the Television Without Pity name around 2002. It was acquired by Bravo/NBCUniversal in 2007 and shut down in April 2014. Recaps were briefly hosted on brilliantbutcancelled.com before that archive also went offline.

This archive was reconstructed from captures preserved by the Wayback Machine. Every page includes provenance information showing exactly when and where the content was captured.
