Elena calls to Felicity through the bathroom door. Felicity walks stiffly out of the bathroom and says that the pregnancy test was positive. Elena looks stunned, but quickly shifts into supportive mode, saying that the tests aren't 100% accurate. Felicity says that they are pretty close. Elena says that Felicity must have used protection. Felicity hesitates a split second too long before saying that she did, because you know she totally didn't with Noel. Elena tells Felicity not to panic, and that she needs to take a blood test. Felicity starts crying and says she's not ready for this. I don't think anyone is ever ready for an unplanned pregnancy. Thus the "unplanned" part of the equation. Elena assures Felicity that they will all be there for her, no matter what happens, and starts to say that Ben will be there, too. Felicity interrupts to beg Elena not to say anything to Ben, because she doesn't want to tell him yet. Felicity uses the excuse that Ben has a lot going on right now with his studies, and she doesn't want to make things worse. But you know that she really doesn't want to tell him because it might not be his child. Elena promises not to tell. Felicity looks away and swallows hard, then wonders if the beauty pageant has a category for pregnant women.
Felicity studies on her bed. Ben walks in and sighs heavily. Felicity asks what's wrong, and Ben explains that he missed the drop/add deadline, and thus didn't get to drop the classes that he signed up for before he changed his major. Felicity suggests that he go and beg the registrar, and Ben says that he was planning to ["Good luck, not" -- Wing Chun], then asks if he's going to see Felicity that night. Felicity says that she can't, then realizes that she's been saying that to Ben a lot lately, and apologizes. She asks Ben not to laugh, and then tells him about the beauty pageant. Scott Speedman does the best reaction shot here -- he turns around, eyes wide, verging on a laugh, and says, "I'm sorry. What was that?" Felicity explains, and Ben laughs a little, and then apologizes. Felicity is laughing, too, as she explains her level of desperation for tuition money, and then says that she probably won't win, anyway. Ben says that she could win, and then asks if he can come and watch her. Felicity doesn't want him to, because she's too embarrassed. Ben apologizes again for laughing, but assures her that she can tell him these things without being embarrassed. Felicity says that she knows, and looks away guiltily, because there's so much that she can't tell him.
