Hurriedly, Emanda explains to Nolan what just happened with Eli as they enter Casa Emily. She really doubts Eli's story about being an antique book dealer, but the only thing that really matters is the potential for him to expose her. With Padma in seclusion until she makes contact with the Initiative, seeking out background info on Eli will be a welcome distraction for Nolan. Honestly, anything would probably be a welcome distraction for Nolan these days -- the poor guy. Despite not currently being on speaking terms, Ems rushes off to go intercept Jack before Eli can get to the Stowaway.

With a nearly empty tumbler pressed against his nose, Daniel tries to tread his guilt at his desk at Grayson Global. He's drowning. His father catches him in this state of depression, noting that he won't find relief at the bottom of that glass and doing so while oddly wearing a cardigan. Really weird to see Conrad not wearing a suit in this setting. Daniel can't so easily forget Amanda Clarke, whose blood is on their hands. Conrad suggests the he get over it like he and Victoria have done by getting behind the Amanda Clarke Foundation. That's cute. Didn't they start a charity for the victims of the terrorist attack they helped fund? At the very least it's something that might help Daniel sleep better at night, knowing that some good has come out of all of this mess, Conrad advises. Dan's not buying it. Maybe the Aiden Mathis Foundation will be next, he quips. Conrad picks up a medal sitting on Daniel's desk. He recounts the story of his son overcoming adversity to win a race. It's a trip down memory lane that Conrad can take because he wasn't rotting away in prison. Oh, I get it now! All of this underhanded business and treachery is about family! Man, Emanda's going to feel like a dick when she realizes she's trying to destroy a family that's just trying to make time for each other. Aiden waltzes into the room, throwing a little bit of respect and thanks to Conrad for his endorsement to be on the board. He asks for a meeting with Dan this afternoon over some drinks to discuss some proposals. It's a date!

Stowaway. Emanda walks in to see Jack already talking to Eli at the counter. She's noticed by Jack, who comes over to ask what she's doing there in that passive-aggressive "Don't you know I'm mad at you" way. Ems says she'd like another chance. That's fine with Jack as long as she can explain why she led him to believe that Amily was seeking revenge for her father, especially now that Eli's just told him that the entire time he lived with Amanda she hated her father. Eli walks over to them and interrupts before Emanda can come up with an excuse. Then, Eli shrugs off an introduction from Jack, pointing out that he met Ems at Grayson Manor earlier. That's enough to put Jack off. He walks away. Eli: "The guy's got the weight of the world on his shoulders. Not at all the footloose dock boy you told me about... is he, Amanda?" Eli reaches down to snatch Emanda by the wrist, turning it to reveal her infinity x infinity tattoo. "That's a nice tattoo. Lookin' pretty good for a dead girl." Ems can only respond with a look of fear.
