Meanwhile, at CTU, the financial transaction between Amador and NuVillain is picked up by Potato Face. She shows Adam the Woman Hater what she found, and he in turn tells Spawn to run a "back check" on the account.

Elsewhere at CTU, Chappelle is reviewing the security footage of Kiefer shooting Nina. It doesn't look good. Clearly Nina is already down when Kiefer shoots her a few more times. Chappelle demands an explanation. Kiefer insists that Nina was going for her gun. "You knew where the security camera was," says Chappelle. "You stood in front of it to obscure any visual record of the shooting." Kiefer insists again that Nina was going for her gun. "I wish I could believe that, but I don't," says Chappelle, who goes on to lecture Kiefer about due process and justice in the U.S.A. Kiefer whips out the emergency velvet. "Don't you tell me about the law!" says Kiefer. "Nina Meyers killed my wife and they let her go. And she would have killed my daughter if I hadn't gotten there when I did!" As Chappelle is whining some more about having to answer to his bosses about Kiefer's heroin use and the shooting of a key witness, Special Agent Charlie Brown enters with news of Potato Face's find. "We'll have a point of origin any minute now," says Charlie. "Get the field teams ready," says Kiefer, reaching for his jacket and heading out the door. "This isn't resolved yet," says Chappelle about the shooting of Nina. Oh, Chappelle, you're such a card! "I've been working with Kiefer all day and with all that's happened, he's operating at a higher level than anyone else in the field including me," says Special Agent Charlie Brown. Of course he's operating at a higher level. He's high! "I didn't ask your opinion," says Chappelle. "Well, I'm giving it to you anyway," says Charlie Brown. Whoa! What a punk-ass bitch! I mean, I know it's Chappelle and all, Charlie, but still. You should be thanking your lucky stars that not another word was mentioned about your disobeying Chappelle's direct orders and not returning to CTU a few hours ago. Chappelle maintains that he'll be "crucified" if he lets Kiefer back out into the field. Kiefer gives Chappelle his word that he can do his job. Oh, look out! It's the Word of Kiefer. It trumps everything: Rock, paper, scissors. Everything. Chappelle lets him go because…he's Chappelle. What else is he going to do? The time is 03:11:35 AM.

Elisha Cuthbert looks hot in this preview for The Girl Next Door. I'd forgotten how fine she looks when she loses that suit and wears her hair longer. Almost makes you want to see her run from a cougar in the woods again.
