Tarot Card: "The Tower." Word: "Adversity." Felicity walks into her dorm room and finds Meghan looking over Felicity's pillow, trying to find a hair. Felicity yells at Meghan, who wonders why Felicity is so anxious. Meghan says, "You're afraid of my power, aren't you?" Felicity snarks, "Oh, I am terrified of your power." Meghan says that it must be working, and that Felicity has been clumsy. Felicity denies it, but when she goes to put on a coat, the sleeve rips off. Felicity claims it doesn't count. Meghan offers to teach Felicity how to "harness the force." Felicity's not interested. Meghan says she's busy working on a new spell about forgetfulness. Felicity sarcastically says that she's sure it'll work, and leaves. As soon as Felicity is gone, Meghan resumes looking for a hair on the pillow. Try her hairbrush maybe? With Felicity's head of hair, I can't believe there isn't more hair around the room.
McGrath's seminar. FVO says that she's not saying this proves anything, but that after Meghan's forgetfulness spell, things got even weirder. McGrath asks a question. Felicity and Elena both raise their hands, and he calls on Felicity. She confidently starts to give the answer, but blanks out on the last part of it. Elena asks if she can help Felicity out, but McGrath bitches, "You know what would be wonderful? If you could let someone else answer a question for a change." Fuck off, McGrath. Elena's face falls, and I think I see a little anger in there, too. Felicity looks at Elena like, "God, what an asshole!" Some dude manages to answer the question as Felicity and Elena look disgusted and a little freaked out.
Ben and Lynn chat in the library. Lynn talks about all the hot chicks he's seen lately, and how it's too bad that he's so loyal. Ben asks if he likes being with Nicole. Lynn says that Nicole is his "heart" and his "wisdom." Lynn kind of reminds me of David from The Real World Seattle. Nicole rolls up and asks Ben whether he knows anything about Nietzsche. The actress playing Nicole looks like she's about thirty-six. Lynn goes off to get some candy. Nicole gives Ben the Eyebrows of Do You Want To Do It In The Stacks With a Much Older Woman. Ben gives Nicole the Forehead Wrinkle of I Think I'll Wait Until Married Maggie Shows Up Next Season, Thanks. Ben looks uncomfortable. They both laugh at the tension. Nicole asks if she's making Ben uncomfortable and Ben says he's just reading. Nicole says that their kiss was sudden, and Ben says that they should forget it because it was nothing. Nicole says that every time she looks at Ben, she wants to kiss him. Get in line, sister. Ben asks if he's trying to make him uncomfortable, and Nicole says she's trying to do the opposite. Which doesn't really make sense. Fuck off, Nicole.
