Tarot Card: "Queen of Swords." Word: "Loss." Julie and Felicity sit on Julie's bed. Julie is crying and telling Felicity what happened with Ben. She says she walked out because she couldn't listen to him anymore. Felicity asks what Ben said. Julie says that Ben thinks things are too serious and he needs a break from her. Felicity is sure Ben just needs a break, not a break from Julie, because it's been a crazy year. Julie cries some more, and Felicity hugs her and assures her that they will work it out. Julie says it's ironic that Ben has broken both of their hearts. Felicity looks surprised, like she forgot about that.
Elena shows up in McGrath's office and shuts the door. She tells him that their relationship won't work. McGrath thinks he was overcompensating when he barked at her in class. He didn't want anyone to notice that he enjoys her company. Elena looks flattered. McGrath says he had one relationship with a student a long time ago, under different circumstances, so he's rusty. Elena laughs. McGrath says he's intimidated. Elena says she is too, and McGrath says that they both scare each other. Elena says that might not be a problem and then they totally make out. Yuck.
Tarot Card: "The Lovers." Word: "Love." Felicity sits in Noel's room. He asks if she's seen Star Wars, and then repeats the advice Fauxbi-Wan gave him. Felicity is confused. Noel explains that if he goes on the road trip, he can't go to Berlin. Felicity looks upset. Noel says he thought about blowing off the internship, because he was worried about being so far from Felicity. Felicity assures Noel that he won't lose her. Heh. Noel says it'll be hard, and Felicity agrees. Noel says the "just friends" thing is making it complicated. Felicity asks if he means the kissing, and asks if Noel thinks they shouldn't kiss anymore. Noel doesn't think they should, but then suggests they kiss one last time to purge their system. They slowly move in for a kiss. Their kisses have absolutely no passion. They are tender, but there's no heat. Felicity pulls back and says she'll talk to Noel later, then leaves. Neither of them looks very happy, so maybe the kiss just sucked.
Felicity walks into her room. Meghan says she tried to tape the picture back together, but that she lost a few pieces. She hands Felicity the tattered picture. Meghan tells Felicity not to "have a hissy" because "the spell didn't work." Felicity asks what the spell was supposed to do, and Meghan says it was a love spell. Meghan says she forgot the clove, which was the key ingredient. Felicity asks if Meghan tried it on herself, and Meghan says it was someone else. Felicity asks if it was someone she likes, and Meghan snarks that it was someone she hates, but that it didn't work. Meghan thinks the spells were just stupid. Felicity looks amused, but walks over and sits next to Meghan and admits that she's not so sure the other spells didn't work. Meghan is slightly encouraged. Felicity says it would be amazing if the spells really worked. Meghan agrees. Felicity looks over at Meghan and seems kind of surprised that they are actually agreeing and getting along. Meghan realizes that she's being nice to Felicity and orders, "Get off my bed!"
