By Kim | Season 1 | Episode 21 | Aired on 05.17.1999
Felicity and Ben do inventory at Dean & Deluca. Ben asks if Felicity is mad at him because of Julie. Felicity says she's not. Ben says that Felicity has been pretty quiet for someone who's not mad. Felicity knows that Ben didn't tell Julie about Nicole. Felicity says she can think of two reasons why he wouldn't: he didn't want to upset Julie, or he is interested in Nicole. Ben says he's not interested in Nicole, and that it's about his relationship with Julie. Ben says he doesn't want Felicity to be mad at him for the whole trip. Felicity says she's not going, because she doesn't think it's a good idea. Ben can't believe it, and points out that she has to get home somehow. Felicity tries to get back to work. Ben asks her to come with him, because it would be fun. Felicity finds a box of clove with a very expired date on it (1991). She climbs down the stepladder and drops the box on the floor. She and Ben laugh and both bend down to clean it up. This of course leads to their faces getting really close together. Awesome. Ben says very seriously, "Say you will." Felicity pretends not to know what he's talking about. Ben continues, "Um, come with me." Felicity asks if he thinks she should. Ben says yes, and they are clearly both overcome with lust. Do it! Felicity agrees to go and then, just as Ben starts to lean in for a kiss, there is a knock at the door. They both laugh uncomfortably, and Ben gets up to see who's at the door.
FVO says that the whole walk home, all she could think about was how she and Ben would be driving across country together. We see Ben and Felicity walking home in slow motion. FVO asks how Noel and Julie would react when they found out. FVO adds that she looked at the picture Meghan taped together when she got home, and realized that Meghan put it back together wrong: "It used to be that I was standing next to Noel, but now...I don't know. You don't believe in magic, do you?" We see the picture, and Felicity is now standing next to Ben. Woohoo!
