Episode Report Card Kim: A+ | Grade It Now! YOU GRADE IT Thanksgiving
By Kim | Season 1 | Episode 9 | Aired on 11.23.1998
Julie and Felicity work on their meal. Julie rushes to the microwave and pulls out some unidentifiable object that she calls sweet potatoes, but it looked more like a loaf of bread to me. She's disappointed in the outcome, and sits down on the couch to pout. Felicity asks what Julie is really upset about. Julie says that part of her wants her parents to walk in, put their arms around her, and not say anything. Felicity sits down on the couch. Julie adds that if she told them about Krakow, her parents would never look at her the same way again. Felicity and Julie mull that over. Julie says that she might tell them at Christmas, and Felicity advises her to tell them when she's ready. The friends share a look, and Hannah walks in, commenting that the food smells great. Hannah says that she's going to the store and asks whether they need anything. They don't, and Hannah leaves. The girls get back to work as Knoll walks into the room. Knoll tells Felicity that he saw "outlook good." Felicity pretty much ignores him, talking to Julie about washing dishes. Julie recommends washing them in the men's room sink, because it's bigger, and asks that they don't ask her why she knows that.
Felicity walks off with the dishes. Knoll asks Julie whether Felicity is mad. Julie says that Knoll hasn't been too friendly. Knoll claims that when Felicity and Hannah are together, he turns into a spaz. "Turns into"? Knoll claims that it doesn't make sense, but Julie shoots him a look like, "It makes perfect sense." Knoll admits that it does, and takes off. After Knoll leaves, the elevator doors open; Ben walks out wearing different clothes than he had on in the previous scene, and says hello to Julie. Ben explains about the ticket thing. Julie compliments his outfit.
Felicity washes dishes in the men's room sink. Knoll enters, and asks whether Felicity will ignore him permanently. Felicity says that she's not ignoring him. Knoll starts to apologize, and Felicity asks whether he's going to use her name, or continue to refer to her as one of the kids in the dorm. Ooh, burn! They don't need an oven -- they could cook the turkey with the heat coming off Knoll. Felicity asks whether she's an embarrassment to him, and says that she hates not being able to talk to him, and that it's the worst thing in the world to her. Knoll is all flattered, and Felicity tells him not to be flattered. She continues to babble about his beautiful girlfriend, and that she's not jealous of Hannah. Knoll shuts her mouth by kissing it. They stare at each other for a moment, and then Felicity lunges for him and they make out furiously. Ben walks into the bathroom, but neither of them hears him because they're too busy loving each other up. Ben looks shocked, and then smiles and slowly backs away.
