Episode Report Card M. Giant: B+ | Grade It Now! YOU GRADE IT Gray Widow

By M. Giant | Season 4 | Episode 20 | Aired on 05.01.2005

Soul Patch finally gets off the phone, and now he has to deal with Bitchelle. "I'm sorry you had to find out like that," he tries. "It's really none of my business," Bitchelle says emotionlessly, marching away. Soul Patch follows her, telling her he should have told her. She doesn't want to talk about it. But he does, a point he illustrates by grabbing her arm and spinning her around so her back is to the nearest glass wall. Ooh, inappropriate. Soul Patch says his life fell apart when Bitchelle left, and SoSP happened to be there. Bitchelle is on the verge of tears as she asks, "Do you love her?" "No," Soul Patch says. I was wrong. Now she's on the verge of tears. Luckily, Lispy Skip is there to interrupt the moment by calling to her across the floor with some technobabble. Bitchelle extracts herself from Soul Patch, thanking Lispy Skip. You know, something was missing from that scene. Wait, I've got it -- Buchanan watching significantly from across the floor. I think I'm starting to get the hang of this show.

That's when Potato Face comes stomping across the floor back to her computer, scowling toxically at the entire universe. Luckily, she's not holding a gun any more. Even so, Lispy Skip is taking his life in his hands as he carefully approaches her and asks if she's okay. She bitches that she's fine. Matter of opinion. I do think it's nice that he's not cheering her for blowing someone away, at least to her face. He turns to go, and she stops him, saying she appreciates his concern, and managing to share a little: "When I shot that guy, I thought I'd go all fetal position, but the truth is, I didn't feel anything. At all. I hope I'm not some kind of a psychopath," Potato Face says. …What? Why are you looking at me like that? I'm just sitting here, not making any comments on that at all. Lispy Skip says maybe she'll freak out in a few days. "I hope so," she says. Heh.

Palmer's outside the Undal Office, interacting with some extras, when PMHC comes out at 2:22:37 to give him a call from Buchanan. Buchanan tells Palmer about the ImhoTape, and how it leads them to believe that ImhoTerror's going to trigger the nuke by dawn on the East Coast. Palmer thanks him, then hands the phone back to PMHC and tells him to get the Chinese Consul back on the line.

The Consul is surprised to be hearing back from Palmer so soon, but he says that the Chinese Premier is already "considering the situation very carefully." "There's no time for that," Palmer snaps ungraciously, and shares the new timeframe. The Consul says he understands the urgency, and he's optimistic, and he expects to hear from the Premier again in two to three hours. Palmer says that's not soon enough, but the Consul says it's the best he can do. Palmer thanks him and hangs up with a groan. He tells PMHC that they'll probably have Lee in a few hours, which is fast for the Chinese, but not nearly fast enough to stop ImhoTerror. "What do we do?" sighs PMHC. Palmer gets a shifty look on his face.
