Ancient Samurai Sword Camp. Hiro and his father are engaging in an extended samurai training session. While they fight, Daddy Hiro tells the story of Takezo Kensei and the Dragon. I'll highlight it as best I can here because you know for reals that this shiz is gonna be important later. Basically, Kensei wanted to unite Japan, so he went to the dragon of Kiso Mountain and asked it to teach him the secrets of the sword. The dragon taught him to become the Kensei; the sword saint. Kensei fought his enemies and won, saving his people. But then the dragon came to his palace and demanded the life of his princess. So Kensei drew his sword and plunged it into his own heart. He handed his heart to the dragon and said, "My love is in here. Take it." Clearly, Hiro is Kensei, Daddy is the Dragon, and I'm not sure who the princess is, but if it's Ando, he's going to be pissed that he's a girl.
At this point, Hiro and Daddy Hiro heat up their battle and it's pretty nice fighting by both Oka and Takei. There's a pause in the fight and Hiro says, "I understand, Father. To save what is most important…I must be strong enough…to cut out my own heart." "Show me!" says his father. Hiro launches himself forward with a battle cry.
Cut to OWI, where Bennet and Matt are finally entering in order to destroy the Walker System. Bennet says the system is on the forty-second floor, so Matt will have to get a read on someone's thoughts in order to let them get upstairs. "You sure isn't another way?" asks Matt. "The reason I brought you here, Parkman," says Bennet, getting up in Matt's face, "was so that you could get us to those elevators without raising a ruckus. Now, if you can't do that, you might as well give up on your wife and unborn child right now because no matter how far you run, they will find you." There's a beat and then Matt just looks at Bennet. "Okay. A simple 'no' would've done the trick." Hee!
Matt gets a read on someone in the distance and they make their way over to him. Matt launches into this hilarious song and dance with a guard at the entrance to the elevators, calling him Stanley and acting like they're old friends. Stanley's clueless. He's also not letting them in. Matt's all, "Buddy! Stan! Remember when we ran into each other last weekend? At that restaurant? With your girlfriend?" Matt's pulling all of the relevant details right out of Stanley's head as Bennet watches bemusedly. Matt seriously riffs on poor Stanley, finally saying that he was really drunk that night and worried about people finding out about the…porno? I can't tell if Stanley was in a porno or his girlfriend was or if they both just liked porn, but whatever it is, it must be really bad, because Stanley snaps to at hearing "porno" and immediately lets both of them inside.
