Ando's all, it's your destiny! Hiro's all, destiny's an idiot! (They seriously go overboard with the mentions of destiny in this episode. I had to start keeping track. Won't you join me? As of this point, we're at two mentions of destiny. Get that? Mentions of Destiny: 2) Ando's all, we can fix the sword! Hiro's all, uh, would that be the five hundred year old samurai sword you think we can fix? Ando's all, let's look in the phone book! I'm all, do they list ancient sword repairmen in the yellow pages? Because…wow. Sure enough, Ando looks up "Ancient Sword Repair" in the phone book and lo and behold, there's a large ad for something called "Jittesu Arms" and right smack in the middle of it is the infamous "S" helix symbol that used to make the occasional appearance earlier in the season. Ando calls, and a guy answers, and Ando asks if they repair ancient samurai swords and the guy says yes and Hiro grabs the phone. "My name is Hiro Nakamura and the fate of the world rests within your hands." The guy on the other end of the phone hangs up and goes back to watching Wheel of Fortune because that's the seventh guy today who's called and said the damn fate of the world is in his hands and he's pretty much sick of it.

Kirby Plaza. Bennet is surprised to learn that Peter is Claire's uncle. She's surprised to learn that her father didn't know that. Apparently the OWI wasn't terribly forthcoming with all their information. Claire asks why they're all there and Bennet tells her about the tracking system they need to destroy. He says that destroying the tracking system is the only way they can have a normal life. Claire doesn't think normalcy is even possible. "I mean, maybe Peter's right," she says. "Maybe we all have a destiny. And it's to save the world…together." (Mentions of Destiny: 3)

While Bennet and Claire are discussing the word "normal," Ted, Peter and Matt are arguing about how The Three Amigos have trekked halfway across the country just to destroy the tracking system and now Peter's telling Ted to leave just because of a stupid dream and a stupid painting. Peter says that Matt and Bennet will take out the tracking system, but Ted has to get the hell out of there so he can avoid having his powers taken by Sylar. Bennet walks up and announces that there's a town in Nebraska that has only 15 people in it; he wants Ted to go there and wait for word from him. Claire says she has the directions to get there and Matt is like, "WHOA! You're sending your kid with RadioacTed and Peter Peter Power RePeter? Are you NUTS?" Bennet just smiles at his daughter and says that she says she has a destiny. (Mentions of Destiny: 4) He says she could stop both of them if she needed to; in fact, she's probably the only one who could. Peter leans in to Ted. "You comin'?" Ted looks back at him. "I'm in." The camera swoops back and we see Sylar, hovering behind a wall. "Me too," he says. Oh, what the hell is HE doing there? Stupid Sylar! He ruins everything!
