Micah's Personal Prison at Kirby Plaza. Candice wanders through the room, shoving fries into her face. Micah comments that he has a cousin who eats like her, but this cousin is bigger than a New Jersey heifer. "He's huge," says Micah. "So am I," says Candice with a grunt. This makes me wonder if Candice is really grossly overweight person who presents herself as this hot chick because of her feelings of inadequacy and remorse about her own figure. She says that she picked up some comic books for him because she knows he likes them. She tosses the books on a table and parks it on the sofa. Amongst the comics is an original Silver Surfer number one. Micah is stunned. He tells Candice that she's nice, even when she's being scary. This is one of Micah's most endearing qualities: seeing the goodness even in bad people. He doesn't see much goodness in Linderman, however, and he asks Candice why she's working for such a bad man. "You could use your power to be a hero," he says.

Candice laughs bitterly and says that he's too young to see how much the world sucks and how mean people can be to you just because of where you were born or what you look like. She bites into a fry like it's the head of one of her enemies and it quickly becomes very clear that Candice is working through some fairly severe self-esteem issues. She sits up and tells Micah that Linderman is going to change everything. "He's going to heal the word," she says with a smile. "I didn't know it was sick," says Micah dubiously. There's a knock at the door. It's Linderman himself. He walks right over to Micah who says that he wants to see his mom. Linderman says that after today, Micah can go home. Micah doesn't believe him. Linderman kneels down before him and says that what Micah does today with his incredible ability will save many lives. Micah considers this a moment and then asks what he has to do. Linderman says he just has to do what comes naturally; he has to talk to machines. After that, Micah will not only be able to go home, he'll go home with enough money in his pocket that he and his parents will never have to worry about finances again. This seals the deal for little Micah.

Back with the Triumphant Trio. Ted asks Peter and Claire how Sylar steals the superpowers and Claire says he rips their heads open. Ted says they should stick to the plan and get out of the city. Unfortunately, the Feds squeal up and point a bunch of guns at them. Audrey, the angry FBI agent with a crush on Matt, gets out of one of the cars and starts shouting at them. Ted yells at Peter and Claire to get out of there, so Peter grabs his niece and turns them invisible and they disappear in the crowd as Ted gets tackled to the ground. Audrey says she's been chasing him all over the country and he tells her she knows he's not a terrorist. She still thinks he is because he blew up a van in Los Angeles. She says he's being taken to Guantanamo Bay, and Ted starts shouting out specific requests for his cell like it needs to be lined with lead and stuff. "So everyone is safe!" Audrey ignores him and the officers drag Ted into a truck.
