Previously on Felicity: Ruby tells Knoll that she's keeping the baby and that she wants to make it work with him; Greg asks Felicity if she is dating Ben; Ben tells Felicity that Greg is an arrogant loser.
At Dean & Deluca, Javier asks Felicity, who is stocking shelves, "What do you think about liposuction? My friend Shaka got all the fat sucked out of her knees. You know, a few months ago, and now she looks fantastic." Felicity tells him that he doesn't need liposuction. Javier notes who is coming through the door and sing-songs, "You'll never believe who's here." Felicity sees the woman and asks Javier who it is. He tells her, "She was in yesterday, talking to Benjamin, I think she has a little 'crunch' on him." Javier, most of the world has a big "crunch" on you. Felicity is surprised and says, "Really?" Ben appears, with a bunch of jars in his hands and asks Javier if he has brought enough. Javier replies, "Yes, perfect as usual. Your girlfriend's here." Ben claims that the woman, Pam, is in one of his classes and that he barely knows her. Javier makes skeptical noise that is either "ooh la la" or "oh, yeah, yeah." Felicity remarks that Pam keeps looking over at Ben, which he denies. All three glance at Pam and she waves at Ben and he goes over to talk to her. As Felicity and Javier watch Ben and Pam, Felicity's father arrives. Dr. Porter and Felicity greet each other with a hug. Javier asks him what he thinks about liposuction. Dr. Porter tells him that plastic surgery isn't his specialty. Javier rubs his abdomen and says, "Okay. I'm thinking maybe a little over here." Then, while fondling his jowls he says, "Okay, get rid of this, if you know what I mean? Hold that thought. Norma's back-talking the customers again." At the counter, we see Norma's back and she appears to be arguing with an older male customer. Javier arrives and says to the customer, "Guess what? It's free! Okay, thank you." He leads Norma away from the counter.
Felicity and her father sit at a table to talk while Ben still chats with Pam. Dr Porter is stopping by for a cup of coffee and because he hasn't seen Felicity for a while. He asks her how school is and she gives him a noncommittal "It's good. School's good." Dr. Porter invites her to go out for dinner with him, but Felicity, who is distracted by Ben and Pam's conversation, declines because she's going to be at the Health Centre later. She suggests that they get together the following week because her "schedule has been so crazy." Dr. Porter tries to play it off with, "No big deal. Things are crazy for me, too. But I'd love to see you, so when you get a chance, give me a call." Felicity notices Pam handing Ben her phone number. Ben stops by the table to say hi to Felicity's dad. Felicity reintroduces Ben and they shake hands and exchange pleasantries. Felicity makes a comment to Ben about seeing that Pam gave him her number. Javier calls, "Benjahmeen, I need you." Ben leaves and Dr. Porter asks if he and Felicity are still together. Felicity emphatically replies, "No. No. No. No." Felicity's dad thinks that it is good that Felicity and Ben are still friends. Javier returns and says, "So, back to the lipo. Samuel, that's my guy, has started calling me: Javier has no hair, have another chocolate éclair. And it stings." Javier looks like he is going to cry. Felicity flashes a look at her father then she puts her hand over her mouth to stop from laughing out loud. Ian Gomez must be a hoot to work with.
