Over at therapist Teri "Not Humorous" Garr's office, Meghan says that she knows that Sean has had a hard year because "losing a testicle is a big deal, I get it." The therapist makes Sean repeat "losing a testicle is a big deal, [Meghan] gets it." Meghan describes their whole relationship as "the Sean show" and harshly denigrates his inventions, his bar mitzvah, his Docuventary, and the fact that he still hangs out with college students. Sean appears to be poleaxed by the vehemence of her outburst. Either Teri Garr has something on her contacts, or her non-stop squinting is one of her acting techniques.
At Dean & Deluca, Felicity thanks Knoll for helping out, even though it might make him feel uncomfortable. He says, "If it was that awkward, I wouldn't have come." Then she thanks him for "the Richard thing." He tells her what his punishment is and they laugh about it. ["Knowing Felicity, I was very surprised that she didn't offer to help him complete his punishment. I guess maybe Javier's illness was the reason the writers didn't have her do that." -- Wing Chun] She wonders whether they're "really not going to be friends anymore." He replies, "I think I can put up with you for another three weeks." She whispers, "Three weeks, wow." He repeats his job offer to her, and she tells him that she's made other plans. It seems that she and Ben are going to spend the summer in Boulder because Ben has a job there.
Still in therapy, Sean admits that he's too old for his friends and that his inventions are crappy. He confesses that his contact at the Independent Film Channel turned down the Docuventary after seeing a rough cut because he couldn't fit it into the schedule. However, the guy didn't completely hang up the phone, and Sean could hear him tell someone else that the film was "amateurish." This prompts yet more squinting from Teri Garr. Sean continues that his bar mitzvah is a joke and that he's going to call it off. He gets up and says he'll be right back, then leaves the room. Teri Garr sighs. Meghan shakes her head and puts her hand over her eyes.
Felicity urges Ben to finish doing the inventory at Dean & Deluca. Ben sighs and Felicity asks him what is wrong. He tells her that he just found out his job in Boulder has fallen through. What, the Boulder PD don't need any more help solving the JonBenet Ramsey case? Felicity mentions that Knoll offered her the job in Seattle again. Ben asks, "Do you wanna go?"
In the storeroom, Knoll is unpacking a box. Ben comes in and informs him that if Felicity takes the job, Ben will be accompanying her to Seattle. Ben says he wants to make sure that he and Knoll will be "cool" if Felicity does take the job. Knoll says, "Yeah, yeah, we're cool." Ben says, "Okay," and Knoll walks out.
