Espada arrives at Tribal Council. Probst asks Alina how everyone in the new tribe is getting along. Alina says they were friendly at first, but there has been friction due to Espada having one way they do things and the ex-La Florians having another way. Probst then asks Ben about his very favorite topic: leadership. Ben says Tyrone seems to be their leader, with his "loud voice" and "assertive personality." Tyrone says being the tribe's leader is a "huge responsibility," but he feels qualified to do it and doesn't abuse his authority to make unilateral decisions, so he's surprised to hear people saying there are "turf wars" in the tribe and hopes to address them later and make things as smooth as possible. Probst says this is as good a time as any to talk about it, and asks Alina for examples. Alina says Tyrone gave them a speech of orders about how things would work around camp as soon as they got there. Tyrone gives her his condescending dubious raised eyebrow look, which I liked much better when he was giving it to crazy people. Alina is not crazy, so now he seems like a dick. Alina says he made her feel like a child. Tyrone says he was simply trying to "introduce" the new people to their camp, and it was not his intent to order anyone around.
Probst goes back to Alina and asks her what the toughest day has been out here. Alina says the nights are tougher than the days, especially the last two cold and rainy nights. NaOnka agrees, saying last night was the most difficult thing she's ever done in her life, which includes getting a divorce. "What was difficult about that?" Probst asks. Uh, really, Probst? Do you need to ask what's difficult about going through a divorce? Isn't Probst himself divorced? Or maybe it's not so hard when you're dumping the woman who married you when you weren't famous so you can hook up with, like, former Survivor contestants. NaOnka says she blamed herself for the divorce and didn't have anyone by her side to be there for her then, unlike on this show, where she has her tribemates. Probst rather cruelly points out that NaOnka is saying that she got more love from strangers and competitors than she did from her family and friends back home. That's really sad, but it's hard to feel sorry for NaOnka after she spent the first four episodes of this show being so horrible. She says she wanted to quit the show, and then she says "there were not 24 hours in that day, there was 26, but it really felt like 48." So I guess at some point last night, NaOnka fell into a disturbance in the space-time continuum? No wonder she was having a much harder time of it than everyone else.
