The challenge begins. Random Kelly and Brenda toss the balls for La Flor while Sash and Marty catch. On Espada, we have Yve and NaOnka throwing and Ben and Chase catching. Marty catches one ball and insists on doing a somersault like it's that impressive to catch a ball. And then Sash drops a ball, giving Espada the first point. Next up are Jane and Kelly B. and Dan and Holly throwing with Tyrone and Alina and Jud and Jill catching. Despite both tribes' apparent reluctance to put women in the catching positions, Alina and Jill both make their catches. Holly, on the other hand, has some trouble putting enough power behind the ball to get it up and over the ramp. While La Flor waits for Holly to throw the next ball, Tyrone drops one, tying the game. Marty then drops a ball, giving Espada another point. In the next round, Alina is the one to drop the ball, again tying the game. Probst is thrilled to see this hotly contested battle go "all the way." Meanwhile, it's just people catching a ball. It's not going to be that exciting, no matter how many times the score is tied or Marty does a ridiculous diving catch. Marty fumbles a ball but ends up catching it. Why does he fall down every time he has to catch a ball? No one else is having that problem. He falls again trying to catch a second ball, and this time he is not so lucky. Espada wins, but apparently La Flor isn't too upset about losing as they do not say anything during the Slo-Mo Walk of Shame.
Under the watchful eye of a capuchin monkey, the new Espada return to camp with their chickens. Tyrone welcomes the new men with manly handshakes and back-pats. Despite this, he says he would have rather not have had a tribe switch, because he thought the old Espada was "a good little machine." Yeah, but it was a machine that couldn't feed itself or win challenges. And most of its parts were insane. Now, he says, they have "little pretty girls running around." Horrors! With that, he suggests that they not eat the chickens right away so they can get some eggs. Yeah, like, two eggs a day at best from chickens who are probably too traumatized and uncomfortable to lay any. Oh, and zero eggs from the rooster. Suddenly, Tyrone is informing the new people about how things work around camp, which seems to involve many systems and rules, which the young people do not like because they are all shiftless lazy wannabe actors in real life. As Tyrone says that they try to keep things clean around camp by cleaning up after themselves, Chase and NaOnka frown. She interviews that back at La Flor, they didn't have any rules. Yeah, I can imagine that someone who has no qualms stealing a tribe member's socks and beating up a woman with one leg would not like the idea of having to follow rules. "Don't think that you a G -- which is a gangster -- cause you're not," NaOnka says of Tyrone. Thanks for the helpful translation, NaOnka. When you said G, I thought you meant "Guinea Pig" and I was so confused. Also, I don't think Tyrone wants to be a G, what with him being an adult with a career and all.
