Espada return to camp, defeated and horrible. NaOnka gets yet another interview to talk about how terrible things are right now and how she's starting to think Espada is cursed. "How you gonna get the pick of the litter and you still lose?" she says. How about because Brenda's "pick of the litter," Jane, is awesome at throwing stuff? As was the guy Holly did not pick? NaOnka says she's not nervous about Tribal Council tonight at all, probably because she'd be glad to be voted out. "I'm over it," she says. Meanwhile, Alina says she'd like to eat something before Tribal. "What do we have to eat?" Chase asks. "BUCK BUCK BUCKAWK!" scream the chickens, who are apparently even more eager to get the hell out of there than NaOnka. The tribe decides it's time to kill and eat a chicken, but Tyrone walks up and says he doesn't think that's a good idea because they need those chickens for eggs. True. So why not eat that juicy-looking rooster? Then you can have the eggs AND a chicken dinner. It's win-win. Holly interviews that it's tough to go against Tyrone's wishes because he's "intimidating," which I'm sure has nothing to do with the fact that he's a black man. In the end, it looks like everyone on the tribe except Tyrone wants chicken tonight, so Chase makes his way to the coop. Tyrone interviews that people are all about "immediate gratification," but he can't "gangster in" and refuse to let them eat a chicken. He also can't do that because, as NaOnka explained earlier, he's not a gangster.
Chase grabs a hen (not a rooster, for reasons I continue not to understand) and breaks its neck off-camera. They then pluck it and boil it (no doubt using Shambo's recipe) while Tyrone sits in the back and pouts. As soon as it's time to eat, though, Holly points out, Tyrone is right there. They try to decide how to divvy it up, and Tyrone says they should "have at it" while being "conscious of your neighbor." And so, the contestants help themselves to tiny pieces of chicken. Tyrone, meanwhile, grabs a huge wing all for himself. Ben is furious, saying that everyone got a mediocre amount of chicken except Tyrone, who was "feasting." Alina and Ben joke about how Tyrone told them to be considerate of chicken portions, and then ate more than anyone. Ben says that Tyrone might be a physical asset to Espada, but not enough of one to outweigh how hard he is to live with at camp. Plus, he's actually not that good at challenges. So Ben wants to get rid of Tyrone, but isn't sure if they can count on NaOnka. Alina and Yve discuss NaOnka as well, with Alina saying that she's "not in this mentally" and doing nothing to try to stay in the game. "We want to keep the tribe strong," Alina says. Alina interviews that she's happy to send NaOnka home and replace her in their alliance with Holly, and then the four of them will be "in control of this game." Really? When Holly could just as easily flip to the old people's side? That's putting a lot of trust in someone you just met, like, two days ago. Although I guess Alina would rather trust her than NaOnka.
