Episode Report Card Sara M: B+ | Grade It Now! YOU GRADE IT P90X

By Sara M | Season 21 | Episode 8 | Aired on 11.03.2010

Jane lets out a series of whoas along with a finger waggle that impresses even NaOnka and says that Marty and his crew "fluffed" Jane off when she approached them. Marty says he wasn't going to make an alliance with someone 30 minutes into the game like Jane apparently wanted him to. Jane, though, thinks she was rejected because Marty didn't think she was "strong." Marty then calls her a "little old lady from South Carolina," which enrages Jane because she is from North Carolina. Marty ignores her and says anyone who watches Survivor (which would be, like, almost no one left in the game at this point) knows that it's someone like Jane who will win the million dollars -- she has a very sad backstory and needs the money desperately because she spent her life savings on infomercial products like the P90X. And, Marty says as Jane rolls her eyes, despite everything that has happened between him and Jane, he'd vote for her in the end if she made it because she'd deserve the money and the people who didn't get rid of her sooner would deserve to lose for making a "strategic error." That seems to get Sash and Brenda's attention. Jane chalks this up to Marty's "personal vendetta" against her, although I think it's more like Marty is responding to Jane's personal vendetta against him.

When Marty's speech is finally over, Probst asks Alina if she thinks Marty hurt himself tonight with his anti-Jane rhetoric. Alina, of course, says that this just shows what a smart, strategic, and dangerous player Marty is and why he should be voted out tonight. But then!! Dan raises his hand and says there are two people in Libertad who stole food and cooking supplies (although he does not mention the fruit, so I guess NaOnka and Alina didn't come clean about that). Probst asks for names, and Dan readily gives them. Shockingly, NaOnka speaks up to defend Alina and take all the blame for herself, saying that she was the one who took everything, not Alina, but she did give everything back after she was "pushed into a corner." Marty just shakes his head and rolls his eyes in disgust that he has to sit there and worry about being voted out tonight and NaOnka doesn't. Jud points out that NaOnka only gave the stuff back because everyone found out she took it. NaOnka insists that she has already been punished for her crime, and Probst asks her to say how, exactly, she was punished. "Nobody talked to me," NaOnka says. Jud is absolutely disgusted, but no one else bothers to speak up.
