Episode Report Card Sara M: B- | Grade It Now! YOU GRADE IT Gone Fishin'

By Sara M | Season 21 | Episode 4 | Aired on 10.06.2010

It's Night 10 at Espada. The tribe tries to convince itself that things will only get better and they will make it through this. Marty then says that when it comes to the next challenge, he thinks they should unite under "one voice," and that one voice should be... Tyrone. This, of course, prompts Jimmy T. to tell us all about how he's a leader back home but apparently doesn't want to be a leader here and will fall in line behind whoever is the leader. Hey, remember last week when Jimmy T. said that Jimmy Johnson was not "a big Jimmy T. fan" and was insecure next to Jimmy T.'s awesome leadership powers? Well, this week, Jimmy T. says that Marty is the one who isn't a big Jimmy T. fan and must therefore be insecure. Jimmy T. says he'd like to tell Marty he's a "preppy little bitch" who "wouldn't last a minute" in Jimmy T.'s world. "I gotta give him a little shake. 'Marty! Get a clue!'" Jimmy T. adds, thereby failing to look for any clues for himself.

The next morning, it's time for another challenge, and treemail comes with blindfolds that clue Espada in to what the challenge will be. While Yve plays with the blindfold, Jill suggests that they practice taking directions while blindfolded. Wide-eyed, Jimmy T. adds "if we get all used to those directions, when you give your directions, we'll know exactly what you mean." Marty just stares at Jimmy T. He is so done with him. And so, Tyrone calls out directions while various contestants wear blindfolds and follow them. He gets a good shorthand going and things seem to be going well. Tyrone interviews that he thinks his tribe will win this one because they are old and therefore more disciplined. Then Jimmy T. steps forward and starts talking about stuff that everyone already knows but saying it in a way that sounds really complicated, takes forever, and tries everyone's patience. Marty interviews that when he suggested that Tyrone be their challenge leader last night, he did it to rile Jimmy T. up, and it worked. "Jimmy T. is delusional. He has no idea. He suffers from both paranoia and from delusions of grandeur. Anybody that calls out Jimmy Johnson and says that Jimmy Johnson might be insecure because of Jimmy T.'s leadership capabilities has got some issues going on." And while Marty is a preppy little bitch, he's pretty much on the money there.

Challenge time! It's so early in the show, that means we're back on the two challenge schedule, right? Good! The tribes arrive, and La Flor is amazed to see Jimmy Johnson has been voted out. And then Probst takes back the immunity idol, which means this is yet another stupid reward/immunity challenge. Ugh. BORING. Anyway, this is a typical blindfold challenge, in which one contestant is the caller and the rest are blindfolded and tied to each other in pairs and must retrieve various Product Placements, then a set of keys that will unlock a chest. First tribe to bring ten items and the chest back to their mat wins immunity and their choice of three of those items, provided by Mervyns. If La Flor uses their Medallion, they'll only have to fetch eight items. They decide to do just that. And since only seven tribemembers can play this, Espada sits out Dan (again) and La Flor sits out both of the Kellys.
