Probst calls go, and Brenda is calling for La Flor while Tyrone is doing the honors for Espada. It looks like Espada has an edge in the beginning, as Tyrone's directions are loud and quick, thanks to the shorthand they developed before the challenge. Oh, and then there's the contestants walking into stuff that always makes these challenges so much fun. Sash nails his upper thigh on a barrel. Benry manages to stumble onto a fishing pole, while Sash and his partner, Chase, get a tarp. NaOnka and Alina (that must have been fun for them) grab a huge-ass hammock. Apparently, all of the items are in, like, the same place? Because everyone seems to be congregated in one area and bringing back tons of items from it. Except for a lonely set of bowls, which Jill and Marty grab. Meanwhile, Yve and Jane are like three inches away from a chair but can't seem to find it. La Flor, on the other hand, add three more items to their mat, bringing their total to five. And then Marty trips over a treasure chest in a most humorous manner. Yve and Jane manage to find the chair and walk back with it, and we get to watch everyone on Espada smack into NaOnka on their way back to the mat, the hits accompanied by wacky sound effects.
Jane and Yve have the dubious honor of bringing Espada's first item onto the mat. La Flor, meanwhile, just got its sixth. They manage to get another one in while Jimmy T. wanders around trying to ask Tyrone questions while Tyrone is obviously focused on other things. Meanwhile, Alina, no doubt energized by the desire to spend as little time possible attached to NaOnka, brings back another item for La Flor. When Jimmy T. and Holly (who decided to pair those two wackadoos up? Or NaOnka and Alina, for that matter) finally get their first and Espada's fourth item on the mat, Chase and Sash are returning with their tribe's tenth. Also, Yve and Jane just brought back another item - their third of Espada's five -- so they had better not get voted off tonight.
While Chase and Sash head off to find the keys, Probst talks non-stop about how crappy Espada is doing and Tyrone starts commanding his troops to apparently get in Chase and Sash's way. It doesn't work, though, as Jimmy T. has stopped following Tyrone's directions at this point and is now hopelessly wandering somewhere in Honduras. Predictably, Chase and Sash unlock the chest and bring it back to the mat to win it all for La Flor. Once the blindfolds are off, Jimmy T. is quick to give excuses, saying that he couldn't hear Tyrone over everyone else's screaming even though Tyrone has a pretty distinct voice and it seemed plenty loud to me. Also, Jane and Yve didn't seem to have much of a problem hearing it. Probst hands La Flor the immunity idol and Brenda chooses fishing equipment, a tarp, and cooking supplies as their Mervyns reward.
