Espada returns to camp. Dan says that challenge looked "tough" and if only he was able to walk in mud, he could have possibly contributed something. He concludes that the Medallion was what gave La Flor the winning edge, and the rest of the tribe is perfectly happy to believe that. Except for Jimmy T., who repeats his request to do something leadership-y in a challenge. He informs us that he's coached various children's sports, like, if having sports coaching on your résumé was such a plus, then why did they get rid of Jimmy Johnson? Marty has clearly had it and walks away before he can go off on Jimmy T. Tyrone, meanwhile, patiently asks Jimmy T. how he would have done things differently and had more success. Jimmy T. then admits that he can't think of anything before going back to his speech about past leadership successes he's had, as if they mean anything. Tyrone interviews that Jimmy T. is too negative at camp after challenges and is obviously only about himself, and it's becoming more and more obvious and a problem. Between Tyrone's comments about Holly being crazy, Marty being shady, and Jimmy T. being obsessed with himself, I think Tyrone is shaping up to be very good at reading people.
Meanwhile, La Flor manages to bring their latest reward home without fisticuffs, unlike last time. They open it to check out their Product Placement prizes, and Sash rather worriedly says, "we have knives?" I'd be worried too, to be that close to a set of knives and NaOnka, but only if I was missing a limb. People with "100% body," as NaOnka would say, have nothing to fear. While Ben and his weird face celebrate the new tarp, Chase searches through the tackle box and finds an idol clue hidden inside. He sneaks off and grabs the clue for himself, then interviews that Brenda is a "close ally" who he trusts, because she is attractive and he is a moron. And then we see a shot of a spider attacking some helpless bug that is probably from the south, stupid, and works as a Pro Race Car Jackman. Chase tells Brenda about his clue and decides to look for the idol with her. Did he not bother to look at the clue before letting Brenda know about it? Or is he assuming there's no way his dumb ass was going to figure it out? Why do people keep coming up to Brenda and showing her their clues? What is her special power over people?
The third clue is pretty easy at this point, and even Chase is able to figure it out. He and Brenda set off for treemail, and Brenda has to figure out what she should do next on the way there: pretend she doesn't know NaOnka has the idol and look for something she knows they'll never find while risking Chase not being able to trust her if he finds out that she knew about the idol and didn't tell him, or tell him about NaOnka's idol even though she told NaOnka she wouldn't, thus running the risk of incurring her wrath. That is not a difficult decision. You do not want to make NaOnka angry. I'm sure Chase would understand. Brenda attempts to tell Chase the truth, but he's a moron and pays more attention to Brenda's body than any words coming out of her mouth, so he doesn't get it at all. Finally, she has to spell it out for him, and he is seriously bummed out. His face absolutely falls. Chase says he now has to trust NaOnka through Brenda, which he obviously did not want to do. Brenda says he can't tell NaOnka that he knows about the idol, even though he clearly wants to and will not be able to keep this a secret for more than three seconds. So, basically, Brenda is probably screwed. But if she's not, then she's in a really good position because she has two allies who trust her but not each other.
