Real World TV Show - The Real World New Orleans Reunion Special - Real World Photos & Videos, Real World Reviews & Real World Recaps | TWoP

Rachel mentions that Danny came out to his parents just before he went to New Orleans, and asks whether his father had trouble watching Danny be affectionate with Paul on the show. Danny says that his father was uncomfortable at first, but that now he's used to it.

Nathan asks Melissa about her parents. Melissa says that her parents are naturals on camera. Rachel asks if it was hard discussing sensitive topics like alcoholism with the whole country. Melissa says she had a hard time. Rachel asks whether her parents said anything to her about it. Melissa says they dealt with it, and she thinks it's best for it to be out there, and she's still close with her parents. As we go to commercial, we see Danny running around the house naked.

Back from commercial, Nathan tells us we're going to take questions from the audience. I hope someone asks how in the hell Nathan got this shitty gig, and why he sucks so much. Some chick asks how their experience on the show ranks in their life. What? There's no drama in that question. Kelley says that watching Julie learn was the most special part, which does not answer the question at all. The girl directs the question to Julie, who says she was blessed. Everyone claps for Julie's blessing. Some guy asks whether their expectations were met. Melissa says that the rent was free. Julie thought everyone would be psycho, as did Kelley. Matt says "awesome" again. Rachel has an email questions for David about the scatting song. Rachel does the worst scatting ever. She goes, like, "Dah dah dah." The whole cast starts scatting. I'm in hell! Rachel says that "Come On Be My Baby, Tonight" is a big hit in Wisconsin, and that she in her husband walk around the house singing it. Somewhere in New York, Djb cries in a corner at the thought of Sean. Just Sean. David, to his credit, laughs and jokes that he couldn't "think of no words." Everyone says. "Woo woo." A guy in the audience asks what it's like to watch yourself. Danny says it's like watching a home video. Julie says that it's traumatizing, and that she wanted to tell herself to brush her hair. Nathan says that it's a privilege. Whatever, Nathan. David says it makes you stronger and it's "a strength growth process." Rachel has an "internet question" asking about Matt's high tolerance. Matt? High tolerance? Judgmental McChristian? Oh, I guess they were talking about the fact that he didn't lose his cool and yell at people. Yeah, he saved that for the interviews. Matt says that sometimes he was furious at Julie, especially during the guestbook incident. Matt has gone off the word "awesome" and is now using "flavor." Julie says that Matt pissed her off, too.
