These are the people who make TWoP possible!
There are two types of Staff pages. The Show Staff pages list the recappers for an individual show. The Show Staff page for any particular show can be accessed from that show's section. A complete list of all shows, past and present can be found on the Shows page.
The other type of staff page is the Master Staff page which lists every staff member who's worked for TWoP since the gold rush days.
Djb
| a.k.a. | Daniel J. Blau |
| djb@televisionwithoutpity.com | |
| Likes | Hot chicks, fast cars, the continuing cultural relevance of professional a cappella music and its rabid and vocal fan base, and the year that I was old enough to really remember and greatly enjoy the Mets winning the World Series. Oh, wait. |
| Dislikes | The public perception perpetrated by people who didn't grow up on Long Island that Billy Joel is, in fact, a big ol' cheeseball. And ugly chicks. |
| Favourite Shows | Whatever. I'm not a WB whore. Stop looking at me like that. |
| Bio | Djb is super-keen on forgotten bands from the eighties and movies based on popular children's board games. He secretly wants to find fame and fortune by writing a full-scale musical extravaganza about the Clinton scandal and calling it Monica! As you can see, he has already procured the website in reckless pursuit of this goal. He is sad Jerome Robbins will not be available to choreograph. If Sars or Wing has anything to do with it, Djb has probably begged to write for it. |
| Recaps | Roswell, Twin Peaks, Making the Band, The Real World: Boston, Oz, Charmed |
Heathen
| a.k.a. | Heather |
| heathen@televisionwithoutpity.com | |
| Likes | Anything Notre Dame, college football, the Airplane! movies, the song "Do They Know It's Christmas?," margaritas, Las Vegas, peanut butter, and my Al Snow action figure. |
| Dislikes | Jewel, sharks, those thong-style sandals, TV shows that name themselves after specific decades, most vegetables, Tara Reid's pelvis, and Céline Dion. |
| Favourite Shows | The West Wing, Undeclared, Buffy, Gilmore Girls, the second, third and fourth seasons of Blackadder, almost anything airing on E! Entertainment Television, The Simpsons, and of course Iron Chef. |
| Bio | Heathen gave up a stable tech-reporting job in Austin, Texas, for the less noble and more unstable entertainment industry. She lives in Los Angeles now, embroiled in the daily struggle against going broke. Her old employers are laughing. Her hobbies include swearing, and swearing loudly. One day, she hopes to stop shouting at the television; failing that, she'd settle for a Diet Coke and some cheesecake. |
| Recaps | Making the Band, Wolf Lake, ER, Undeclared, Band of Brothers |
Pamie
| a.k.a. | Pamela Ribon; a.k.a. Pop Culture Princess |
| pamie@televisionwithoutpity.com | |
| Likes | Johnny Depp, John Travolta, John Cusack, John Henson, Jon Stewart, Johnny Rotten and John Waters |
| Dislikes | Jonathan Taylor-Thomas, John Stamos, Johnny Mathis, Johnson and Johnson, John Q. Public, Johnny DrinksTooMuch and John Tesh |
| Favourite Shows | Gilmore Girls, Sex and the City, The Sopranos, Mr. Show with Bob and David, Friends, Seinfeld, Behind the Music, Queer as Folk U.S., Will and Grace, 21 Jump Street, Newsradio, The Kids in the Hall |
| Bio | Pamie has recapped Get Real, Young Americans, Ally McBeal (with Gwen), Gilmore Girls, Making the Band, The Real World San Francisco (that one took a team), season two of The Sopranos (with a different team), and Popstars. When Pamie isn't getting stuck recapping some of the worst shows on television (Gilmore Girls and The Sopranos excepted), she used to update her site Squishy at pamie.com, where she dished out the gossip of her daily life. But that's gone now, so she would have been working on her weekly article for The Austin American-Statesman when most of her other freelance work was cancelled with this whole dot-com bust thing you hear about so much these days, but then they went ahead and laid her off at the Statesman, too. Please send Pamie cash. She's got two cats to raise, you know. Pamie has written and performed One Woman Shows (Austin, TX misses her so) and is a graduate of The Second City. That's right: she's officially funny. You can find her and her cats arguing over the TiVo just about any day of the week. She lives and works in Los Angeles, where she sometimes wears pigtails. |
