Past the halfway point, what will host Luke Tipple come up with ? Yes, I am crediting him for all of the game's twists and turns. He just thinks them up, I'm sure, and he built the elimination bridges himself.
"It's weird to start the day not knowing what's going to happen with anything anymore," Kirsten of the pink team said. Has there been a standard hunt since the first one? Tired, greasy and hungry, the remaining teams reflected on how crazy everything is. The white and green teams agreed that everyone left now is strong except Black. I guess the teal team proved themselves somewhere along the way, maybe when they caught two teams in one day. The pink team noted that all the remaining teams have a strength: The green team is fast, the red team is strong, the black team is "quiet" (and knows how to find the supply stations), the teal team is sneaky, the white team "has hustle," and they weren't sure which unique strength they had but it's probably all the good ones.
Before the hunt begins again, Luke Tipple reminded the teams that he is a criminal mastermind. "Life out here is no day at the beach and today we're going to put that to the test," Luke said. He revealed that this time, the supply stations wouldn't be a fiesta. Instead, they would have crucial survival supplies needed for the night spent … in the hunting grounds. And they thought the Village was tough! The green team looked particularly worried since camping is for white people.
The pink team lit up, since they are outdoor survivalists. Then, Luke announced that the black team would be the hunt team. They were excited to not be sleeping in the forest. Brooklyn! When the prey teams were released I actually laughed out loud, because nobody knows what they're doing and to see them just run into the woods without a clue was strangely delightful.
Once the teams took off, Luke asked Sabrina and Noelle about who their targets are. They said white and green are the ones they'd like to take down, just to prove they aren't so weak. Luke released Black into the field and Sabrina promised the teams had not seen this side of them yet.
The teal team knew they'd be "an easy catch," so they tried to be especially sneaky. The black team, meanwhile, was just stumbling into the green team nearly by accident. Antoine and Kareem paused, implementing their spider senses, then sprinted off when they saw the black team barreling toward them. I don't know that this capture is going to happen.
Luke announced to the masses that the hunt team was in pursuit and we watched the chase end with the black team running out of gas. Their strategy was to hide out at the supply station.
"I see they're not afraid to chase us," one of the green team members remarked arrogantly. I'd like to see them captured. Luke finally announced that the beach supply station (ooh, a new one!) was open and each bin contained vital supplies for sleeping outside in the woods. Everyone headed for the supply station except Pink. Teal wondered if they could go all night without food and determined that they'd be even more pissed off if they didn't eat.
The green team was first to the supply station, frantically opening each bin to assess its contents. They decided to go with the one that had two hot dogs, two hot chocolates and two pillows. Hot chocolate isn't a necessity, just throwing that out there. Then they noticed the food that was out in the open: "a huge ass sundae." They went after it, likely in the hopes that all that dairy gas would warm them through the night.
The black team spotted the green team and staked out the supply station as the white team approached with caution, followed by the red team. It's a swarm! Feeling "like cougars" or "like a animal," the black team crawled closer to the supply station on their hands and knees. They chased after the white team to no avail, and Matt unhelpfully shouted, "I told you to run" at Kaleisha.
The red team ran in and Black didn't catch them either. With less than fifteen minutes left in the first day of the hunt, Noelle and Sabrina were getting nervous. With five minutes left until the supply station closed, Kaleisha distracted Black by talking at them while Red escaped out the other side. The black team determined that White would be their best bet at a capture. They pursued Matt and Kaleisha, who escaped. The Day 1 Hunt ended, but I'm sure after a night in the wild the prey teams would be easier to catch.
The prey teams high-fived over not being caught, then looked toward the task at hand: creating a shelter aside from sleeping bags. "Oh, no one is here," the black team said nervously upon returning to the village.
Hilariously, the pink team had already gathered brush and logs and started a fire. They were loving every second. The teal team found Pink's shelter and said it looked like a bed and breakfast. They even had a view.
Meanwhile, derpy music played over the green and white teams camping together and talking about their fear of bears and cougars out there. Teal decided to go to bed early and dream of food. The night , one of the twins had a dream that she stole a child's peanut butter sandwich in a bookstore. Like ya do.

Noelle and Sabrina enjoyed a feast of hamburgers and Gatorade, and talked about how their friendship has grown just enough for them to go home this episode.
As darkness descended upon the hunting field, everyone's attitude soured. They tried to lighten the mood by telling ghost stories, which were underscored by coyote howls. It is very terrifying for most of these reality stars, who signed on for camping but not camping-camping, you know?
The morning, everyone was fine and no one was eaten by coyotes. The pink team had a Trump Suites-level rest. Luke announced that for the Day 2 hunt, there would be an advantage point that gave whoever got to it the power to tether another team together for the rest of the hunt. Brilliant. The location of the Advantage Point will also be revealed to the hunt team.
Hungry and slow, the teal team was just hoping not to get caught. The black team went for the advantage point, hoping to use it. The black team got to it first and chose to tether the White team in what will at the very least be some therapy and a test of their relationship. This infuriated the white team to no end because they are both so stubborn and no one wants to follow anyone else, or help lead anyone else. They just want to go their own ways, which isn't possible when connected by a rubber dog leash.
It didn't help their noise level, either, and the black team quickly discovered White breaking every branch in their path. White ran and of course one of them fell, turning it into an amateur ice show. The white team disappeared on the hunt team, and then Black found not only White, but the green team as well. They were nearly unable to catch either, but the tether slowed Matt and Kaleisha down considerably and made them bicker once they disappeared again.
"You need more than a sabotage to outrun us," Kaleisha managed to say sassily. The hunt team spotted them for a third time, and lost them a third time. Crap. With time running out, the black team was feeling desperate. The pink team appeared on the radar near the hunt team and we started learning more about them as a team, which always makes me nervous.
The hunt team happened upon Pink, who had just been putting flowers in their hair and cloaking themselves in the pelts of the coyotes they'd skinned the night . Black has five minutes left in the hunt, and Pink successfully dodged them with stealth. Black is on the lookout, and White was up on a rock. Kaleisha knew being on a rock was a terrible idea, especially when tethered, but Matt didn't move fast enough. Black team chased them, giving their last five minutes of breath. For a fourth time, the white team outran the black team.

Adding insult to instant elimination, Matt and Kaleisha yell "YEAH, SKUNKED OUT" at the black team. "That's unnecessary," Noelle noted. I'm sad, but relieved for them. They played the game pretty much the way I would have: get drunk whenever possible, have fun, trust blindly, and keep friendships first. And they still looked pretty at elimination.
"You have to applaud the black team actually, they had a lot of endurance," The green team said, "every other team we ran against would just quit within like, 30 seconds." Bleh, shut up. The black team parted with kind words and a reminder that this is the best bonding experience you can have. And the more you bond, the sooner you'll be eliminated!
