After being nominated along with Chelsia, James talks about how this has made him more of a threat than he was before. Hence the pink shirt and purple pants, which makes anyone look super scary. Chelsia admits in the DR that it was smart of Adam to pit them against each other, and then they go and fool around in the storage room. Joshuah congratulates himself on being the only person in the house who hasn't been nominated so far. Well, someone always is. Rejoining the rest of the group, Chelsia and James start jokingly speculating about who's going to be backdoored, since obviously James and Chelsia aren't going anywhere.
Natalie goes up to the HoH room to congratulate Adam on his nominations. "D-U-N, done," she tells him. I wish I could be sure she's kidding. Meanwhile, downstairs, James is joking around about how his second eviction interview with Julie will go, which gets on Sheila's nerves. How dare he not mope and lie on the ground like last time? She goes up to the HoH room so she, Adam, and Natalie can watch on the monitor and be all annoyed that the nominees aren't acting more upset, and so the ladies can suck up to Adam. He, at least, has a more realistic attitude: "If he wins PoV, this house is fucked."
In the storage room, Chelsia has dropped the pretense and talks to Joshuah about possible escape scenarios for herself and James. Josh lays it out for her -- if there's no veto, Chelsia is the one who will stay. Well, duh.
Later, now that they're alone, James and Chelsia sit and feel sorry for themselves -- except that James asks Chelsia to throw the PoV competition, since he's already been evicted once. Chelsia wants to stay, though. Ah, the course of true love never did run smooth between a pair of money-grubbing famewhores.
Meanwhile, Sheila worries about what will happen if James wins PoV, but Natalie's got it covered: she's using The Secret!
Movie time. Adam gathers everyone in the living room and delivers big tubs of popcorn, and the following news: one of the people watching the movies gets to win the Vegas trip that Ryan lost in Sunday's luxury competition. All they have to do is find the ticket hidden in one of the popcorn tubs. Chelsia wins it, much to her excitement. I have to say, I think she would have won even if she hadn't immediately dumped all the popcorn all over. And after that, she, Sheila, Joshuah, and Sharon head upstairs for the screening. "I'm going to sit here and sulk and eat this popcorn on the ground," Natalie says. This is what happens to you when you don't have anyone around to talk to except the DR camera: you start narrating your life in a really obvious way.
The movie watchers enter the HoH room to find it turned into a screening room, stocked with drinks, snacks, and theater seats. And fresh popcorn, which is just a bit too generous, if you ask me. Here comes some easy recapping, because I'm not going to describe any 21 clips and it doesn't take that long to tell you that while the movie is playing, Adam is downstairs by the pool table giving Ryan a hard time over gambling away their movie screening. After the movie's over, everyone claims to have liked it, which causes me to lose all interest in seeing it, ever.
Late at night, Adam rousts everyone out of bed to pick players for the PoV competition. Joshuah frets about what this departure from the usual routine could mean. Well, if he likes routine, he's in the right house. As always, it's the HoH (Adam), and the nominees (James and Chelsia), and a person randomly drawn by each of them. The randoms are Josh, Sheila, and, for James, Houseguest's Choice. He picks Sharon, way too excitedly. Ryan feels bad about not getting to play, and he and Adam talk in the HoH room about what a poor draw this is for their side. "It's all down to me," Adam says. Well, and Sheila, but she always loses, so point taken. Meanwhile, James is making an idiot of himself with the celebration, and Sharon sees what a mixed blessing this is for her; if James goes off the block, she might be .
Everyone's sleeping. It's the ass-crack of dawn. And speaking of ass-cracks, enter Evel Dick, accompanied as always by his heavy-metal guitar soundtrack. He raids the kitchen drawers for a couple of big pans, and then heads for the main part of the house. Dude, turn around -- omelets happen in the kitchen.
After the ads, Dick goes sauntering through the house, banging his pans together and not making nearly the racket he probably hoped for. He yells at everyone to get up for the PoV in ten minutes. Sheila gets an edit where she DRs about how much she hated Dick, and then we see her rushing at him and throwing herself on him, and saying that now she's been in the house, she respects him. I assume she means that now she understands for herself how being in this house can turn you into an even bigger asshole than you were before.
The houseguests find the back yard turned into a bar with irrelevant musical instruments all over, and a big sign that reads "Club Evel." Great idea! Oh, that's not what it means. Dick explains that they'll have to drink gross beverages and play "rock & roll croquet" (which marks the first time in history those three words have ever been used together) to win the PoV. Plus if the PoV winner beats Dick's score of 33 points from last season, he or she will also win a Gibson Les Paul guitar and amp. Dick sends the PoV competitors to seclusion in separate rooms.

Sharon goes first, and does some drinking. Josh is , claiming to Dick that people call him the gay version of Dick. Dick says the only one he's heard say that is Josh. Wow, Dick is watching this show a lot more closely than I am. The rock and roll lifestyle is all about the live feeds, no? Josh takes a few drinks and then quits. Sheila follows Josh, with Dick telling her to be a winner if she wants to go to the Rainbow with him. Not as motivating as you might think. Chelsia double-fists and burps like a frat boy. Adam spits out one of his drinks. James appears to finish all of them, and nearly avoids gagging until he gets back into the house. He's swallowed worse.
Afterwards, everyone gathers outside (with Natalie and Ryan watching from the sidelines) so the competitors can find out how many shots they all earned. Joshuah got only five. Sharon and Chelsia each have six, which Natalie thinks means the other alliance is mathematically out of luck. Sheila got seven, impressing everyone, and when she shoots croquet and earns a total of 23 points, she's in the lead. Adam is , with eight shots, and since he figures James got all ten, he knows he has to deliver with the croquet. Chelsia admits that she's hoping for Adam to win the PoV and keep the nominations as they are because it means James will go and Chelsia will stay. Ah, love. Adam ends up with 28 points, and the lead. Sure enough, James did all ten shots, but he kind of sucks at croquet. But with ten swings of the giant croquet mallet, he's able to steal the lead from Adam and win the PoV with 29 points. Dick keeps the guitar, though. For doing nothing. Story of his life.
Joshuah, Chelsia, and Sharon are worried, for various reasons. Josh thinks he's in line for the nomination, Chelsia regrets bringing James back at all, and Sharon thinks that Adam will now have to put up either herself or Joshuah. I'm just happy that Dick's gone.
James and Chelsia have another one of their storage-room meetings, in which she insincerely congratulates him. "I love you," she says. "I know," she Han Solos. Meanwhile Josh, realizing that the replacement nominee will be either him or Sharon, gets to work figuring out how to make sure it's not him. He goes straight to his secret ally Ryan to advocate to Adam on his behalf. They agree that putting up Sharon against Chelsia will be easy to sell, as a sure way to get Chelsia out.
Later, Sharon and Joshuah are discussing the same thing, as they both agree that Sharon is "safer" to go up against Chelsia. Joshuah DRs about how much Sharon loves him, while the poor dumb sacrificial blonde DRs about making sacrifices for her "team." Ain't no teams any more, Kansas. But she goes to pull Adam into the HoH room to volunteer. Natalie looks worried at seeing the two of them go into seclusion. In the HoH room, Sharon cheerfully and preemptively lets Adam off the hook for nominating her. She's so going home.

Later, Sharon brings Natalie up to speed on the deal she made with Adam. Wait, why am I calling it a deal? She's not getting anything out of it. If anything, she's displaying the exact same kind of behavior that ostensibly got James and Chelsia nominated, and Matt evicted. So clearly nobody believes that "breaking up couples" bullshit anyway, and have forgotten to even pretend to. While Sharon and Natalie are talking, Joshuah comes up, wondering what's going on. And Natalie comes to the conclusion that Sharon's volunteering to go on the block has something to do with Josh. A sharp one, that Natalie.
Later, she and Adam sit in the HoH room talking about their big threats. Obviously there's not anything they can do about James now, but they figure Joshuah is emerging as a threat. After all, he's not only the only one who's never been nominated, he's also got a pet houseguest who does whatever he wants. When Ryan comes in, Natalie tells Ryan what they're thinking. But Ryan argues strongly in favor of his secret ally, although he claims that it's because he wants to weaken James by getting rid of Chelsia.
Veto ceremony. James says he doesn't plan to get evicted for Chelsia a second time. Chelsia sees her worst-case scenario as going up against Sharon, and Joshuah does a scared-little-boy routine in the DR about how afraid he is to go on the block. At the meeting, James says he's decided to use the veto on himself. "Sorry, Chelsia, you're probably gone," he sasses. "But Adam, you still have to replace me." So Adam does. With Sharon. Nobody smiles bigger than Sharon (least of all me) as Adam explains to his fellow houseguests that he feels this will minimize future repercussions for himself.
Sharon DRs that she's going to go to the end with Joshuah. "We started this game together and I'm going to end this game together with him." Except they didn't start the game together. I just figured out why Sharon's doing so well in this house: no long-term memory. If anyone does slight her or offend her, she forgets about it a few minutes later, like a goldfish who doesn't get invited to a birthday party. Chelsia DRs about how much James sucks for his little aside to her. And Joshuah gloats about only staying off the block, but also convincing someone else to go up in his place. He's already counting his prize money. I've never missed Neil so much in my life.
