Helen's other original target for the week, Howard, decides he needs to do something similar. In his own private convo with Aaryn, she tells him about Candice threatening Helen to have Aaryn nominate Spencer and GinaMarie, according to Helen. She also tells him about the deal she made to stay, to which Howard tries to claim that she can make a bold move and shake things up. She's not convinced, but assures both Howard and the DR that she's entertaining all input. Or enduring it, more like it.
A police siren goes off in the house, which the houseguests take as a signal to gather in the living room. Poppy Montgomery shows up on the viewscreen, because her show Unforgettable is on tonight after Big Brother. They all clap like they're going to get to watch it, and Poppy Montgomery tells them to divide themselves into teams and head outside for the Have/Have-Not competition. When they come outside wearing cheap-ass police uniforms with different-colored stripes on them, they find the back yard made up like the set of an even cheaper-looking cop show. Judd DRs that he's less cop and more FBI: "Female Body Inspector." Shut up, Judd.
Poppy Montgomery is also on a monitor out there, explaining that in the first part of the challenge, each team will have to unload some fake evidence off some shelves and stack it on a much smaller table. The first team to do that gets an advantage in part two, which she doesn't explain yet. But I think we can probably can assume that memory will be involved somehow. The competition begins, and apparently only two people from each team can enter their evidence room at a time. Most of the teams hurry to unload everything off the shelves before stacking -- that is, except the purple team, which is Howard, Spencer, Helen, and Jessie. The orange team (McCrae, Aaryn, Elissa, and Andy) finish their stack the fastest, which they're so excited about that I'm sure it's going to bite them in the ass. The green team (Judd, Candice, Amanda, and GinaMarie) comes in just ahead of the orange team.
Each team then gets to collect an envelope marked with their rank in this stage of the competition, whereupon Poppy Montgomery comes back on the monitor and says she "forgot" to mention that her character remembers everything she sees. How ironic. So yes, of course the teams are going to have to remember exactly where they got everything from and put it back. They're all like, "Aw, we should have known." Yes, you should have. The Orange team, who came in first, gets a photo in their envelope showing where ten of the items go back to. Green gets nine clues, and purple gets eight.
