Kaitlin heads up to see Helen. Andy's up there, lounging as usual in his everyday clothes that look like a toddler's pajamas. Helen makes the first move, getting weepy even before Kaitlin can and saying she has no choice but to get rid of Jeremy, as though the house is forcing her to do this. Kaitlin starts right in on Howard, saying he's been obviously throwing competitions. Helen gets that, but says Jeremy has been rude to a lot of people, including herself. We get a previously unseen clip of Jeremy yelling at Helen for no reason in the kitchen in front of everybody from week two, for some completely unnecessary corroboration. Kaitlin manages to squeeze out more tears than Helen did, but it doesn't do her any good; Helen isn't budging. Kaitlin goes back to Jeremy to say it's a no go. He takes it heroically, saying he'd much rather go up in Kaitlin's place than anyone else's. She blames his cockiness, which he's unrepentant about, saying "a champion's a champion." At this point, Kaitlin is beginning to question whether not saving herself would definitely get her booted, and is considering staying on the block in the hope that Aaryn or Spencer will go home instead. I guess we'll find out how certain she is.

Kaitlin puts on the Veto medallion and contemplates the memory wall, saying she's torn between saving Jeremy and herself. Helen tells the DR in no uncertain terms that if Kaitlin doesn't use the Veto, she's out. Jeremy is for once realistic, saying his best-case scenario is if Howard gets nominated somehow. Aaryn thinks she's going home if the nominations don't change, clearly underestimating how badly (and how incorrectly) the others want Jeremy out. Finally Kaitlin calls the Veto meeting. She says it's been a tough decision, but she Vetoes herself. Helen stands up to name her replacement nominee, who of course is Jeremy. Kaitlin DRs that her and Jeremy's only hope now is to campaign against either Aaryn or Spencer. Howard is glad to have a chance to make things up to people, and Aaryn says that while Jeremy is a bigger target than she is, he's also better at talking his way out of things. "I laugh in the face of danger," Jeremy DRs, vowing not to go out without a fight. I totally believe that, because none of these people can seem to do anything without a fight.
