Mary Ellis Bunim: Okay, so this is the episode where they have sex, right?
Murray: Well, not exactly, sir.
Bunim: Whaaaaat? It doesn't matter whether they did or not. Just take some footage of him in bed, and then her in bed, and edit it to look like they are in bed together, and throw in some shots of the Empire State Building and play some sexy music. No one will be able to tell.
Murray: Isn't that, well, kind of unethical?
Bunim: Your lips are moving and words are coming out, but I don't understand what they mean.

Back at Limelight, Kevin and Lori are still dancing together. In an interview, Kevin says that Lori asked him why he wouldn't kiss her, so he quickly did, but it wasn't a big deal. Cut to Lori and Kevin off the dance floor, trying to talk over the loud music. Kevin tells Lori she's pretty, but he doesn't want to date her because he likes her so much, and that he thinks of her as a sister. Lori gives him a look like, "Um, you just kissed me," and tells him that he can't be attracted to her and look at her like a sister. Kevin tells her, "I don't want to be with you." Lori doesn't hear him and so he repeats it. She still doesn't hear him, so he yells, "I DON'T WANT TO BE WITH YOU!" If this was a movie, the needle would scratch across the record and everyone would hear Kevin yell that, and then look at Lori, who would whimper and run out of the room while Kevin tried to make some excuse. But it's real life, and it's embarrassing, and I feel so bad for Lori right now. I mean, I know I was pushing for Kevin to be upfront with her all along, but he could have been a little gentler about it. Lori's face falls and we don't get to see her response. Man. That was brutal. It's hard enough to get shot down, but this was on national television.

Mike and Kevin walk home alone. Mike wonders where the girls are. Kevin says they are probably home taking a bath. Huh? Mike says that Lori was disappointed because Kevin rejected her. Kevin says that Lori is like a lot of girls, in that she really just wants to be wanted, and didn't care about Kevin as a person. Kevin feels that her disappointment was more that he didn't want her than that she wanted to be with him. Wow, I totally don't see that, and I think Kevin has some issues with women. I think Kevin said point-blank during the casting special that he was attracted to Lori, and she wanted to do something about it, and then he changed his mind for whatever reason.
