As if he smells the shenanigans, Sawyer coughs. Hurley asks if he's okay. Jack says he got conked on the head pretty hard, but he's breathing. And then it comes. Kate: "What about Jin and Sun?" Jack looks up at her and shakes his head. Michael Giacchino kills me softly with his song. Kate weeps. A single, perfect, manly tear rolls down Hugo's cheek, and then? He starts sobbing. I start sobbing. Jack, who hasn't let a single tear fall all season long shakes his hand and stands up. He wanders off to the waterline. You bastards will not break my no-crying streak. The sand coating the back of his clothes changes from shot to shot, but that's hardly here nor there. Once his feet are in the water, Jack looks up and sighs. I so will not. You will. You will. You can't beat it, honey. Jack knows I'm right. He tries to shake it off but he's too late. He lowers his head, struggles for breath and then finally, he cries, lovely, lovely Jears.
Hydra Island; Dock: Faucke and Claire are still there, after dark. Did Sideways events fast-forward the timetable again, or is this just dorky? Finally, Faucke breaks the silence. "It sunk." Claire: "The submarine? But they were all on it. Everyone. They're all dead?" Faucke: "Not all of them." He turns and walks away. Claire watches as he slips on his Jack's backpack. "W-w-wait. Where're you going?" Faucke keeps walking. "To finish what I started." Do do do do do do do do DUN! Title card. Bad robot!
