Episode Report Card M. Giant: A- | 1 USERS: A- YOU GRADE IT O Brother, Where Art Thou?

By M. Giant | Season 6 | Episode 5 | Aired on January 21, 2007

Just then, Agent Jennings comes across the yard, accompanied by a non-speaking agent and loudly calling Walid's name. As the circle turns to watch curiously, the agents rudely grab Walid and hustle him across the yard. The whole circle follows at a distance, and as Walid is dragged into a bathroom (the occupant of which is rudely thrown out, and it's a good thing he was only washing his face at the time), they mill around outside curiously.

Back in the surveillance room, Sandra is hearing the audio of this staged encounter, as Jennings makes accusations and Walid denies them. He's quite convincing at it, too, because he probably has no idea what's going on. Sandra also hears some thumping, but when she complains that it sounds like Walid's getting abused, Agent Blond assures her it's just for show. Also, he would very much like her to shut up.

In the bathroom, Jennings is yelling at Walid about something they found in his wallet. He and the other agent drag Walid away from the urinals and into a stall, out of view of the men watching from outside. Jennings quietly tells Walid that he's being wired as the other agent sticks a wireless two-way earpiece in Walid's ear, then goes right back to yelling at him. There's some more roughing up, and Sandra gets up to put a stop to it, but Agent Blond grabs her by the arm, preventing her from leaving. Meanwhile, Jennings tells Walid to tell Salim and his friends that he was asking about "this man," and he holds up a PDA with the name Abu Fayed on it in 120-point Arial. They sock Walid some more, then leave him there, with Jennings "threatening," "I'll be back for you." When Walid comes out of the bathroom with a cut and a bruise under one eye, Salim asks what happened. Walid says that he's fine, and stumbles away. Back in the surveillance room, Agent Blond hears Salim say, "They think they can do anything to us, those bastards!" "We've got a clear signal," he announces. Sandra looks at him as though she'd like to send a clear signal of her own.
