Ashley apologizes profusely for ruining Emanda's date, but she's not sorry. She's a party planner. She lives for this sort of thing. Ashley insists Emanda shouldn't count this as a mark against Daniel because she practically had to twist his arm to get him to sign off on the idea. What a terrible girlfriend. This is why I make sure all my girlfriends are socially awkward and can't keep their girlfriends. Ashley notices Sammy and Jack being in attendance despite not being on the guest list and takes her leave of Emanda. Nolan finds Emanda to ask why she leaked the wrong info to the press about his deal. She explains her Shakespearean plot to ruin Bill Harmon and hands over her phone with a queued news video of Harmon being mobbed by angry investors. She walks off and leaves Nolan smiling.

Empty Poor Porter Bar. Dec has a bottle of champagne in a bucket of ice and dances by himself as the jukebox plays The Raveonettes' "Red Tan." There's a knock at the door and he runs to answer. It's Distrust Fund Adam and his band of goons. They jump Dec.

Emanda has to step outside from the party for some air and looks out into the night from her porch. Jack walks up on her and congratulates her on the purchase of the house. He asks if she has plans on tearing down the house to do something else with the property and she says she doesn't. He says it's nice to meet someone with appreciation of history. Emanda gets that warm glow on her face that only surfaces when she sees Jack. He wishes her a good night and leaves. She looks a bit shaken as she watches her childhood love walk off with her childhood dog yet again.

Distrust Fun Adam's goons have Dec held up by his arms up against the bar while Adam wails on him. Dec's face is a bloody mess. Adam is all tough talk, asking to hear Dec say who he's going to stay away from. Dec stammers a non-answer to draw Adam in closer and then head-butts (!) him and says, "Your mother." Carl hears the commotion and comes downstairs with a baseball bat, but not before Adam gets in one more kick to Dec's gut and taunts, "Stay on your own side of the economy, you little dock rat!" Teenage Angst, I'd like you to meet Class Warfare. Carl peels his son off the ground and says they'll get what's coming to them. Dec doesn't believe his drunken father: "Yeah, I know. Yeah, they'll get girls and they'll get cars and they'll get more money than they can spend. And you know what I'm gonna get? Crap. Because I'm a loser, dad. Just like you." Dec hobbles off upstairs and Carl tries to follow after him, but he stops short and collapses.
