Out on a street somewhere, "Can't take a hint" Nolan walks to his car and leaves Jack a voicemail about how difficult it's going to be to continue his sailing lessons if Jack doesn't return his calls. He gets in his car and Emanda is waiting for him in his backseat. She's in cold-killer mode because he's the one who bought the house out from under her. Nolan cocks his head to the side and slips into his diabolical lackey mode to clarify that he had to place a bid because Victoria had outbid her and was going to steal the house out from under them if he didn't. Emanda doesn't understand why Nolan insists on being a part of this revenge plot. For the umpteenth time, Nolan has to remind Emanda that her father was the only one who believed in him when he was starting his company. Let's hope this time this story sticks with Emanda and we don't have to hear it again. She tells Nolan that she wants the house, but Nolan being the attentive sycophant he is, already has the deed in Emanda's name -- an early birthday gift, he says. He condescendingly asks Emanda if tomorrow is the big day. She actually looks hurt by that and exits the car without saying a word.

Tea time at Grayson Manor. Victoria has brought up Emanda's supposed equestrian history and asks her for an exact date of when she was a part of that. She's obviously trying to get some information for Frank to verify. Emanda volunteers that she has an interest in history and was a member of the Landmark Preservation Club, which was about the preservation of art. Daniel comes home sweaty from a run and is surprised to find Emanda there with his mother. This gives Emanda a good opportunity to excuse herself in addition to citing the heated bidding war on her house in which she's been involved. Victoria, fully assuming she has outbid Emanda, asks what she'll fall back on with the living situation. To answer her question, Emanda pretends to have just received an email telling her she's now officially the owner of the house. Victoria's eye twitches. Daniel and Emanda don't notice because Daniel is too busy asking out his mother's new enemy on a celebratory date tonight. Emanda accepts the invitation, thanks Victoria for tea and leaves.

Later that day, Nolan and Emanda walk a city sidewalk together. Nolan is geeking out at the thought of Victoria's face when she found out she lost the house. Emanda insists they're not partners in this whole revenge business, but just as she says that, Bill Harmon parks his Ferrari up ahead of them and gets out. Emanda turns immediately and hugs Nolan so Bill will see them. Nolan's confused, but she knows what she's doing. She then tells Nolan to get lost. She meets Bill for lunch and tells him she is ready to invest. He claims he'll watch out for her and advise closely, but Emanda wants to cut past all the bullshit. She leans in and ask if he knows anything about a company called AllCom Cellular. Bill says they're nothing special, but Emanda ignores it and insists she wants to invest with them today because of a tip she received. Bill's brain is drooling. Emanda tells Bill she'll wire funds today and will deal with portfolio transfer next week.
