Diane: "Oh, right. I sort of buried the lede. Um, they are coming after you. After your ass. All of them."
Everybody smiles at everybody else, like they weren't just fighting on top of the casket; there's something underneath it, too. Eli's newfound friendships, that are more about perception than they are about reality. Diane and Alicia, wondering about Caitlin's eventual destiny and who's going to shape it. Julius, always the bridesmaid. David Lee, who's made himself an enemy. Sometimes you don't know the shape until the pieces are done moving. Sometimes you don't connect the dots until it's too late. But if you wait until somebody's already on the ledge, how many lives do you save?
Alicia watches as Caitlin walks to her new office, smiling. Just passes her by.
