In the next scene Felicity walks into her new room to discover Meghan putting some of her stuff on a shelf. Meghan immediately gives Felicity hell for missing the first R.A. meeting while Felicity looks shocked and says, "we're roommates again?" In the first of what will likely be many reality-check deliveries to Felicity this season, Meghan says, "That was kind of my reaction, except angrier and louder. And in between 'we're' and 'roommates,' I added a word." Felicity stands there looking like a stunned mullet. I don't know if it because the realization that she has to live with Meghan is sinking in, or the if it is the realization that she is not the only person in the world who thinks she is lumbered with a dud roommate.
Then we're back to Felicity sitting on the bed in the half-light telling Sally that it might not be all that bad living with Meghan and being co-R.A.s, and that they have forty-six advisees, and that she is nervous. Next we see Felicity and Meghan's first meeting with their advisees. For some reason, both Felicity and Meghan are wearing their hair up, I guess, in an effort to look more advisorly. They stand in front of a room full of freshpeople who look more or less what first-year university students look like, or at least Hollywood's perception of first-year students. While Felicity tells them the cafeteria's operating hours and those of the student union, Meghan pours cold water on Felicity's earnestness by telling them that the food sucks. When Felicity tries to play it off, Meghan contradicts her by emphasizing that the food is the worst and all the students laugh. A young woman in the back asks, " Does Health Services fill prescriptions?" Felicity answers yes, then Meghan asks, "What kind of prescription? What's wrong with you?" For some insane reason, the young woman responds, "Birth control." Yeah, that's a great way to get to know the people living on your floor, by telling them that you need to get your birth control prescription filled. However, it gives Meghan an opportunity to tell the student not go to Felicity for contraceptive advice because Felicity has only had sex once, and to stay away from Health Services. She goes on to say, "Oh, and the guy she had sex with, she barely even knew." All the while Felicity is glaring and hissing at her. Meghan says that when she went to Health Services last year to get a refill of "Zomig for migraines, because I was living with [Felicity], they gave me 20 Zyprexa, which is an anti-psychotic." Felicity finally fights back and states that that might not have been a mistake, then she bulls ahead and tells the student to check it out for herself. Felicity wraps up the meeting with an invitation to "come talk to us at any time" and wishes them all a great year. Meghan and Felicity leave the room and Meghan says that she thinks that the meeting went pretty well. Felicity says, "You just announced my sexual history to a group of strangers!" and Meghan replies, "Is one a history? And hey, I have news for you, no one cares." Soon they are joined by a freshman who introduces himself as Brian Burke who tells them that they "run an exceptional meeting" and he asks if what Meghan said about Felicity's one sexual experience is true.
