Episode Report Card Gustave: C+ | Grade It Now! YOU GRADE IT Tater Not

By Gustave | Season 3 | Episode 14 | Aired on 02.16.2004

Back at CTU, Adam the Woman Hater goes over to Spawn's desk and helps her view a live feed from the interrogation room on her computer -- Nina's interrogation, not Kiefer's. They both then watch as a needle is inserted into Nina's neck and Nina's expression doesn't change. "I don't think she's going to give us anything," says Adam. "We're going to have to find Alvers by ourselves." He assigns Spawn a list of cities that Alvers has been in in the last three years to cross-check against suspected terrorists on the CTU database.

Back in Kiefer's interrogation room, Kiefer is all, "I don't understand why we have to go over this again!" Uh, because you refused to let Chappelle help you? Special Agent Charlie Brown enters to inform Kiefer that the interrogation is producing nothing and that they are having Richards "work on her." "That's a big mistake," says Kiefer, explaining that no one should be alone in a room with Nina who hasn't worked with her before and known what she's capable of. "She'll just manipulate him," he says. "All Richards does is inflict pain," says Chappelle. "There's no way for her to manipulate him." ("Could you bring us some coffee, Richards?" "Sorry, not in my job description. I inflict pain. And that's it!")

Back in Nina's interrogation room, Nina gets more pain shots in the neck. "How much more of this can you endure?" asks Soul Patch. "This is about it," says Nina, leaning back and forcing the syringe to hit an artery. Now it's Soul Patch's turn to tell Nina that her neck is bleeding! Copycat! Blood flies everywhere. Soul Patch applies pressure to Nina's neck to stop the blood, and Bitchelle calls for medical assistance. The time is 02:48:25 AM.

The time is 02:52:44 AM. Palmerville. Brother Palmer enters Palmer's office to find out what Lady Mac said about William Ocean's death. Palmer tells him that Lady Mac insisted that it was just a heart attack, but Brother Palmer doesn't believe her. Palmer doesn't believe her either, but doesn't think she's capable of murder. "We have to assume the worst," says Brother Palmer. "Then we also have to assume that Mrs. Ocean was involved," says Palmer. "What?" says Brother Palmer. "Julia isn't the same kind of person as Lady Mac!" "When we find out all the facts, we'll proceed from there," says Palmer. Brother Palmer leaves Palmer's office and calls Mrs. Ocean from his cell phone. She answers just as paramedics are taking William Ocean's body away. Brother Palmer asks her what happened. She tells him that Lady Mac was there and stopped her from giving William Ocean his medication when he had an attack of angina and lost his breath. Brother Palmer tells her to call a lawyer and remain silent until he gets there. "Could you come down here and help me?" asks Mrs. Ocean. "No, and please don't call me," says Brother Palmer. "I will help you but right now I have to keep my distance." ["By calling her via cell phone, which is traceable. Good thinking, BP." -- Sars]
