Brenda tries to save herself by talking to Sash about giving his idol to her so she can play it and thus keep herself and hopefully everyone else in her alliance in the game. Yeah, Sash is never going to go for that plan, even though he interviews that he might if he thought it was necessary to save a teammate in order to save himself. Holly worries that Sash will give Brenda the idol, but NaOnka says there's no way in hell that'll happen. They all seem to know that Sash is too much of a weasel to give up the idol. Brenda interviews that she's "furious" with NaOnka for her "dumb move" of ruining Brenda's chances of winning a million dollars. She thought she was going to the end with NaOnka, like NaOnka can't get there on her own. The fact is that everyone wants to take NaOnka to the end, so Brenda needs her a whole lot more than NaOnka needs Brenda. And Brenda doesn't seem to realize that. Jane, however, did. And NaOnka picked Jane's side. Brenda says the plan now is for Sash to give her his idol so they can vote NaOnka out.
The Final 10 arrive at Tribal Council. In walks the jury, with Marty looking much better without the crazy hair. And he has a big smile on his face, so he's not bitter, which is nice. Probst opens by asking Sash if he was surprised when Marty was voted out at the last Tribal Council. Sash says a lot of people were surprised (though not if he was one of them, which he, of course, wasn't) and since then, alliances have changed and he finds himself more out of the loop than he's ever been before in this game, which Alina seems to enjoy. Probst asks Chase if he thinks Sash is telling the truth. Chase says he does, since Sash was in a strong alliance that is now "gone." We cut to a shot of NaOnka, who appears to be crying. Brenda says she "regrets" voting Marty out last time and didn't "want" to vote for him but had to in order to show her "peeps" that they could trust her. Yeah, keep playing for Marty's jury vote, Brenda. You're going to need it when you're totally not in the Finals. Brenda claims that she herself hasn't had a problem trusting people in this game until now, when her very strong alliance was stabbed in the back by one of its own, which would indicate to me that said alliance is not really all that strong. Of course, she's talking about NaOnka, saying she thought she only had to worry about the people who weren't in her alliance when the real threat was someone she thought she could trust. Well, that's why you don't get too comfortable in this game.
