Kiefer asks Walker what's up, and she bitches that "you've got everyone treating me like I'm an invalid." Kiefer says it's SOP, which Walker has no time for. "He's going to take one look at me and decide if I'm lying." Kiefer knows that, but says they need to be ready. She hates him not thinking she's up to it, or trusting her. "So here we are. Me and my babysitter." Walker's not only in a dark place, but a sarcastic one. It's 7:54:03 as they continue across the bridge.
Back at CTU, Dana confirms with Arlo that the aerial drones are already in place, and with Chloe that they're two minutes out, and should arrive just as Ziya closes up shop. Then she answers her ringing cell phone with a crisp, "Walsh." "Someday you're going to have to tell me how you picked that name, Kevin smugs into her ear. From Kiefer's boss in Season One? Kevin's in her apartment now, making himself comfortable. And noticing the photos of her and Cole, who apparently go on a lot of vacations together and make other people take pictures of them which she then frames. Kevin assumes it's her boyfriend, and smirks, "I hope it's not too serious." Dana breaks the news that they're getting married, and his surprise seems rather sincere, if not the pleasantness in his voice. He wants to hear all about him, but she doesn't have the time or the inclination to describe him as more than "a guy I met." Which doesn't satisfy Kevin, naturally. "I spent seven years in prison with some guys. Is that the kind of guy you mean?" Wow, that got personal in a hurry. He wants to talk in person, but she reminds him that she's in the middle of a crisis and doesn't have time. He calls her Jenny and demands that she make time, and she snaps at him to stop calling her Jenny. So he goes off, yelling at her not to tell him anything, calling her Jenny again, knocking some of her shit over, and ordering, "Now get back here!" "I said that I will as soon as I can," Dana says as calmly as she can, which is not what she said, but whatever. What she needs to do is lure Arlo away from his desk so she can hijack one of the aerial drones and level her own place with it. For now, though, she just hangs up, walks back to her desk, removes her headset, and walks away. While Chloe watches.
