Wiedman lets Veronica in, and Veronica returns the drive to Jake. He starts to call to have her arrested, but she tells him that if he does, she'll make everything on the drive public. He doesn't believe she could have cracked the code, so she rattles off a couple randoms' secrets, leading to: "Then there's that steamy boarding school incident of yours!" Of course, we know Jake went to Neptune High, so was the steamy scene in middle school? Because either way, I'm thinking all-male shower. She says that he has to leave her dad out of it, but he tells her it's too late for that. Veronica looks floored...
...and then she arrives home, to find Keith making gumbo. By way of apologizing for what she's cost him, she tells him she loves him more than anything, and he says he never doubts it.
In the morning, Veronica gets up, and is devastated to read in the paper that charges have been filed against Keith for his evidence tampering...
...and then, she enters the voting booth and casts her vote for her dad. As "It Never Rains In Southern California" fittingly plays, she leaves the building, and walks down the street in the pouring rain, with her family just as popular as it was in the series premiere.
I just want to thank everyone involved with the show for doing such a great job, and for being so accessible, to me personally and to the fans in general.
