Petrelli Palace. Nathan's hanging out in his office, talking to someone on the phone about photo ops and polls. Linderman's there. Nathan hangs up and mentions to Linderman that he's down in the polls so he doesn't see how there's any way he can win this thing. "Ohhhh," says Linderman. "I never listen to polls!" Well, he should; the majority of our readers think you smell like Drakkar Noir, dude. It's not a compliment. Linderman and Nathan rehash their favorite conversation: "You'll Become President As Long As You Let New York Go Boom!" Once again, Linderman claims that Peter exploding is something that cannot be stopped. Really? Is it…destiny? Linderman goes on to say that it's what happens after the explosion that matters; and it's entirely up to them.

Linderman comments that Papa Petrelli would have been very proud of his son and Nathan says his pop would have had him committed for even considering any of this nonsense. "Well, clearly your mother didn't tell you," says Linderman. "Tell me what?" says Nathan. "Your father was one of us," says Linderman. "Someone with great power." Y'all, I TOTALLY CALLED THAT ONE. Well, I also thought that Linderman might be Nathan's dad, so I was pretty much grasping at straws, but it's nice to know I'm right about something every once in awhile. Linderman says that Papa Petrelli tried to make a difference in this world, but when that wasn't enough, he just gave up and committed suicide. "Your father was weak," says Linderman. "My father was my hero," says Nathan, fixing Linderman with a steely stare. "And when I win--"

Heidi, Nathan's Wife on Wheels, cuts him off when she appears and asks Nate if he wants to say goodbye to his kids before they go to school. She stops short when she sees Linderman there, and it's pretty clear she's not fond of him. He says he was just leaving anyway and starts to go. He pauses in front of her, saying that he'd like to give them both a gift before he leaves. Then he takes her hand in his and holds it for a moment and Heidi's like, "Okay, EW. And what's that smell? Your cologne is cheap, dude." Sparks don't fly or anything, but since this is Linderman, and we know he heals things, we can assume that he's just treated Heidi's lack of mobility to a hefty dose of Linderman's Locomotion Tonic.
