These are the people who make TWoP possible!
There are two types of Staff pages. The Show Staff pages list the recappers for an individual show. The Show Staff page for any particular show can be accessed from that show's section. A complete list of all shows, past and present can be found on the Shows page.
The other type of staff page is the Master Staff page which lists every staff member who's worked for TWoP since the gold rush days.
Deborah
| a.k.a. | Deborah. But never Deb or Debbie or any other irritating variations thereof, unless you're angling for a free ride on the Size Nine Express (tm Sars). |
| deborah@televisionwithoutpity.com | |
| Likes | Words, books, language, reading, writing...um, wait! Other stuff too: the 70s, meat, shopping for antiques, Sylvia Plath, boating, water, music (especially funk), obscure films, the colours purple and black, silver-coloured metals, Cary Grant, Keanu Reeves, confessional comics, lilies, orchids, cats, yoga, her Aeron chair, and sweet, sweet solitude. |
| Dislikes | Millions of things, but heres a short list: incompetence, quasi-literacy, mistakes in print, bad architecture and design, the '80s, tobacco, winter, carnations, roses, fur, perfumed and scented things, canned pork and beans, allergies, the colour orange, noise, wimpy shoes, crowds, gold-coloured metals, people who don't signal, air travel, rodents/vermin, and misogyny. |
| Favourite Shows | Joan of Arcadia, 24, The Simpsons, Canadian House and Home, Designer Guys, Seasons 1-3 of Oz, A Makeover Story, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, All in the Family, Rhoda, The Dick van Dyke Show, Northern Exposure, Antiques Roadshow, and back-to-the-past reality shows, such as The 1900 House and Pioneer Quest. |
| Bio | Deborah recently moved from the Middle of Nowhere to the Outskirts of Somewhere with her husband, Professor Frink. She is a freelance writer and editor; her company is Words to that Effect. Deborah spends every "spare" minute working on her website, Chicklit, assisting her husband with his computer consulting business, or renovating/redecorating/maintaining her house. Overcommitted as she is, she can always find time to complain about the climate. She harbours a deep and abiding distrust of anyone who does not like funk music. Deborah vaguely remembers what it was like to have a life, and she'll thank you not to remind her. |
| Recaps | The West Wing, The Practice, Trading Spaces, Joan of Arcadia |
Djb
| a.k.a. | Daniel J. Blau |
| djb@televisionwithoutpity.com | |
| Likes | Hot chicks, fast cars, the continuing cultural relevance of professional a cappella music and its rabid and vocal fan base, and the year that I was old enough to really remember and greatly enjoy the Mets winning the World Series. Oh, wait. |
| Dislikes | The public perception perpetrated by people who didn't grow up on Long Island that Billy Joel is, in fact, a big ol' cheeseball. And ugly chicks. |
| Favourite Shows | Favourite Shows: The Daily Show, animated series recommended by Wing Chun and Glark, anything not produced by Mike Fleiss |
| Bio | Djb hasn't come up with original thought that hasn't been set to music or published somewhere on the internet since the Fall of 1999. He has co-written a musical (Monica! The Musical), and if you haven't heard of it, you're either not paying attention or you're not his extremely supportive mom. He was just kidding about the "hot chicks" part from above, but he's flattered that he gets asked about it so often. |
| Recaps | Roswell, Twin Peaks, Making the Band, The Real World: Boston, Oz, Push Nevada, The Bachelor(ette), Skin, America's Next Top Model, My Big Fat Obnoxious Fianc, Six Feet Under, and The O.C. |
Glark
| a.k.a. | David T. Cole |
| glark@televisionwithoutpity.com | |
| Likes | Playing Counter-Strike until 4am |
| Dislikes | Things involving tools and nails |
| Favourite Shows | Clone High (Damn you MTV), Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Futurama (damn you Fox!), The Prisoner, Amazing Race, Conan, Arrested Development, lots of 'boring' history shows and the Dr. Gene Scott show which is really fucked up |
| Bio | Glark runs ber Interactive, an interactive agency specializing in web solutions for entertainment and community-minded properties as well as producing TWoP, Hissyfit and Fametracker. Glark waits for the day he'll have enough time to take a serious vegetarian cooking course. Glark also runs Glarkware, a t-shirt online store which rocks your world. |
| Recaps | Not much. Did a quarter of a Survivor recap, one episode of The West Wing and half of a Star Trek movie. Spends most of his time banning people from the forums, designing TWoP merchandise and going on huge ego trips. |
LTG
| a.k.a. | Jon Bourgault (formerly known as lawtalkinguy) |
| ltg@televisionwithoutpity.com | |
| Likes | Cats, New York System hot wieners (all the way), frozen lemonade, the porkpie hat worn by the cute florist around the corner (or maybe its just the cute florist), Amtrak, Paris, D.C. TWoPCons, and his housemates. |
| Dislikes | People who criticize regional accents and phrases, Republicans, the D.C. Metro, most sports, the cigar smoked by the cute florist around the corner, raw tomatoes, and his housemates. |
| Favourite Shows | Good Eats, The Simpsons, The Amazing Race (except when Reichen and Chip won), Jeopardy! (except when Alex tries accents), Xena: Warrior Princess, and NewsRadio. |
| Bio | LTG is, shockingly enough, a lawyer. He spends most of his time practicing pension and benefits law in D.C. The rest of his time he spends watching way too much television, hanging out with his housemates, travelling to visit his family in Rhode Island, or contemplating his next trip to Paris, where he has an awesome catsitting gig. |
| Recaps | The West Wing |
Miss Alli
| a.k.a. | Linda |
| missalli@televisionwithoutpity.com | |
| Likes | NCAA basketball, margaritas, the Jayhawks, Jon Stewart, the FinePix 3800, her nephews, overpriced Philosophy products, deleted scenes, when her TiVo randomly records episodes of Happy Days, this one picture of her that was taken when she was about ten, The Sure Thing, girl detective mysteries, certain long wonky books about public policy, Dorman's Dairy Dream, and risking all her imaginary money playing poker online |
| Dislikes | Jerks who think they're cute, golf on television, eggs with onions in them, greasy lipstick, the dentist, the Metrodome, when her TiVo randomly records episodes of Essence of Emeril, most actresses with three names, her feet, Ann Coulter, orange cheese, the last four minutes and forty-five seconds of every five-minute Saturday Night Live sketch, people who mock the Midwest, and self-important ensemble dramas |
| Favourite Shows | The Amazing Race, Law & Order, World's Wildest Police Videos, Sports Night, Friends, old episodes of Moonlighting |
| Bio | Miss Alli hangs out in Minnesota, where she is an attorney. No, really. She has a little card and everything. She can usually be found watching DVD audio commentaries, defending reality television, reading about ways to make her apartment look bigger, and having long, meandering arguments with the people she really likes. Whenever she can think of anything to say, she airs her id at Frolic and Detour. |
| Recaps | The Amazing Race, Big Brother, Married By America, Survivor, The Apprentice, The West Wing |
Omar G

| Bio | Omar G. used to think he was alone in the pop culture wasteland, and then he met the Television Without Pity posse. He started a site, Terribly Happy, and has contributed to some of his favorite places on the Web, including Hissyfit and Fametracker. He lives in Austin where he works at a newspaper and performs and writes with the Latino Comedy Project. |

| Favourite Shows | The Amazing Race, Americas Next Top Model, Laverne and Shirley, any Top 20/40/100 countdown shows on VH1 or E!, CMT Crossroads (oh shush, CMT rules), Freaks and Geeks, The Golden Girls |
| Bio | Potes lives in Providence, Rhode Island, where she works hard to bring a sense of humor to the non-profit sector. She co-wrote a full-scale musical extravaganza (Monica! The Musical) that, quite tragically, keeps being downsized. Despite evidence to the contrary, Potes still clings to the hope that she was given up for adoption by her secret biological mother, Cher. |

| Dislikes | Mayonnaise, pundits, people who use "dialogue" as a verb or "signage" in any context |
| Favourite Shows | Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Iron Chef, The Simpsons, Futurama, Farscape |
| Bio | Shack claims to be a journalist and editor, but if you look at all the errors on Bitch Panic, you'll just shake your head in wonder about the sad state of today's media. |

Strega
| a.k.a. | Just don't call me Sue |
| strega@televisionwithoutpity.com | |
| Likes | Petty grudges, good books, bad television, her chinchilla, playing devil's advocate, complaining about her many dislikes |
| Dislikes | Centipedes, laugh tracks, 95% of fandom, peanuts, Oliver Stone, and too many other things to name |
| Favourite Shows | Farscape, Babylon 5, The Singing Detective, Fawlty Towers, The Prisoner, Aeon Flux whoa, I'm such a geek. Yikes. |
| Bio | Strega grew up watching Star Trek, Monty Python, and David Letterman, which probably explains a great deal. She was born in California, went to college in Illinois, and now lives in suburban Maryland, where she works in a gray, suburban office building. Strega spends far too much time thinking about cookies. Every so often, she remembers to update her website. |
