Mother Africa Giveth and Mother Africa Taketh Away

In this week's reward challenge, the tribes each must run up a ramp, cross a rope bridge, and scale a web of rope to retrieve twelve food-containing baskets. If you instantly thought this looked like yet another opportunity for Kimj to flail and cost Boran the challenge, you would have been entirely right. Samburu finishes first and wins -- amongst other things -- an ostrich egg. Back at Boran, Tom thinks grits taste like shits, and then the tribe comes face to face with a menacing cape buffalo and walks away from it. The feuding continues at Samburu, and Playskool is upset because they don't get to sleep late one morning. Later, Linda goes on a spasmodic hugging spree; Lindsey shoots her down, and then cries about having her own feelings hurt. For immunity, the tribes must relocate a miniature camp from one circle to another. If it sounds stupid, that's because it is stupid. Boran takes home the immunity idol for the second week in a row, sending Samburu to Tribal Council. The spirit gods just phone it in this week, and Linda shuffles off to Buffalo -- or wherever it is she's from. Because I don't really care, as long as she -- and her African fairy spirits hug-happy dogma -- stays there.
