Weathering the Storm

Remember the cliffhanger from last week? That sort of thing is just low-hanging fruit for Emanda when her prime targets are embroiled in a bitter divorce. She sends the video of David revealing he's Charlotte's father to Conrad and his lawyer. They run a paternity test, which reveals that David is, in fact, the father. This is all settled without Maury Povich, by the way. There is no little dance from Conrad when he finds out the news. Actually, while Conrad chooses not to cut off Charlotte from her trust, he still turns into the worst non-biological father whose child was the apple of his eye just moments before a DNA test. He all but disowns her, ordering her to go live with her mother with no explanation. Poor Charlotte. Poor rich girl Charlotte. Girl, don't you worry. You can buy a new biological father, someday.

While the Graysons may be dealing with one illegitimate daughter, they've gained an imminent daughter-in-law. Daniel ignores the last of his mother's pleas to abstain from marrying Emanda and proposes. It's a completely romantic, thoughtful and sweet proposal on the bow of the Grayson's yacht where they first met. It even starts pouring rain in the middle of Daniel's heartfelt speech, and he holds an umbrella for them both until he can pop the question. They throw away the umbrella and embrace in the rain. It's entirely one of those proposals you want to see on television, but wouldn't want to actually partake in because, shit -- don't drench me, rain. I have nothing quite so beautiful to distract me from the wetness.

So, that's all well and good, but Victoria has put two and two together about where the tape about Charlotte must've come from. She invites Amily over for tea to interrogate her, and catches her in a couple inconsistencies about her identity. Victoria has Ryan Huntley run a DNA test from saliva Amily leaves on a teaspoon before defiantly leaving. All of this should spell disaster for Emanda, but Huntley is in league with her and switches the sample to uphold Amily's identity as Amanda Clarke. Emanda had also stashed the stolen video cassettes from Mason Treadwell's house in Amily's bag at the Stowaway, so when Victoria sends a goon to retrieve the tapes, that suspicion checks out. The only snag is the goon inadvertently runs into Jack, beating him brutally.

The thought of Jack's blood being on her hands (with a little help from Nolan's criticism) sends Emanda into a fit of self-doubt and defensive precautions. She considers returning her engagement ring to Daniel and "pressing pause" on her whole revenge plot. She gets in contact with Amily and finally reveals to her the whole truth about David Clarke being framed, and is able to finally convince her to leave the Hamptons for the sake of everyone's safety. It's all coming to a screeching halt until Emanda finds out Victoria didn't come clean to her son and led Daniel to believe David raping her is what begot Charlotte. A false rape claim is usually all it takes to get your mind back on revenge. Emanda presses "play" again on her plan.

Emanda has summoned Nolan to Casa Emily to watch the video she discovered of her father revealing that Charlotte is his daughter. Emanda voice-over: "Some say that our lives are defined by the sum of our choices, but it isn't really our choices that distinguish who we are. It's our commitment to them." David describes in the video how difficult it was to think he wouldn't just be leaving behind Amanda, but two daughters as he rotted in prison. Emanda is putting on a brave face for Nolan. Her plan is to send one of the tapes to the Graysons and have them figure out if David's claim is true and stash the rest of the tapes on Amily to further frame her for burning down Mason Treadwell's famous cottage. Ever needling, Nolan asks if Charlotte being Emanda's sister changes anything. It doesn't. At least that's what Emanda says before putting on latex gloves and spraying down the cassette tapes to remove her finger prints. What about Jack? And puppy dog Daniel? Emanda's feelings are irrelevant and she's tired of Nolan's questions. "Look, I came here for revenge and you offered to help. If you can't stomach it anymore, then how about you at least spare me your passive-aggressive judgments?"

Grayson Manor. Daniel reports to Ryan Huntley what he's been able to find out about Conrad's dealings with the company. Conrad has about $500 million in assets in offshore accounts and is trying to acquire as many liquid assets as possible in a timely manner because the S.E.C. is beginning to suspect there is something wrong with Grayson Global's trading practices. These moves have all taken place within the last decade, which makes the assets fair game for Victoria in the divorce now that the prenup has been nullified. Victoria's proud of her son for coming through with the information, and carelessly declares with joy that now Daniel doesn't have to go through with marriage. Cue serious Daniel. He explains that he still wants to marry Emanda even if it wouldn't activate his trust fund, and his mother needs to accept this if she really cares about him being happy. Queen Victoria's eye twitches.

Emanda takes a slow-mo walk down the docks on an overcast afternoon and spies Jack and Amily sharing a kiss on The Amanda. She calls out to them about hearing they had left town to party in Atlantic City and points out they've made it back just before a brewing storm hits. Also, she was supposed to have breakfast with Amily last week. Amily gets the hint and excuses herself to go off for "breakfast" with Emanda, who shares the news that Mason Treadwell's home burned down the night Amily left town. Emanda suggests it was Victoria's doing, and warns Amily that the queen might try to pin it on her, suggesting once again futilely that Amily leave town. Amily insists she's not scared and can take care of herself and Jack.

South Fork Inn dining hall. Declan meets Charlotte and Conrad in jeans and a T-shirt. Charlie is all giggles and can't wait for her father to tell Dec what they've been discussing. Furthering his plan to appease his daughter amid the custody battle, Conrad has enrolled Declan in the same prep school as Charlotte so they can be together. It's all done and paid for. Dec just needs to pass the entrance exam. While Dec and Charlotte glow over this development, a waiter brings Conrad an envelope with a flash drive and an anonymous note that reads, "Open in private." Conrad winces and nervously looks around the dining hall.

Overcast Grayson Manor. The help is shutting doors and battening down the hatches in preparation for a big storm which mirrors an ongoing meeting between Conrad, Victoria and their respective lawyers in the breakfast nook. Huntley prepares to launch into what Daniel discovered about the company's finances when Conrad's lawyer, Barbara, cuts him off. They want to talk about Victoria's indiscretions, which Ryan and Victoria suppose should've been nullified by Conrad's indiscretion with Lydia. Conrad pops open his laptop and turns it to face Victoria. It begins to play yet another new clip of David talking about Charlotte. This time it's about her namesake being David's favorite aunt whom Victoria was aware of. He took Victoria's naming of Charlotte as a signal that she was his. Barbara has ordered a paternity test already, and Conrad is less than civil about all of this. If Charlotte isn't his, he plans to offer Victoria a tiny pittance and revoke the Grayson name. Conrad: "When we're done with all of this you're gonna be back to Victoria Harper, which is only fitting considering you'll once again be the desperate, penniless little bitch you were when I first met you." See? Less than civil.

Mean-spirited ocean 3-D title card and commercials

Ryan Huntley finds yet more French doors to close at Grayson Manor in anticipation of the big thunderstorm. In addition to making sure we're aware a literal storm is coming, he's closing the doors so he can more clearly admonish Victoria for breaching their disclosure contract. Again. He wasn't aware her affair was with David Clarke, nor that Charlotte could be David's daughter. The conversation moves into the office where Victoria is sifting frantically through papers. She tells Ryan she's looking for contact info for one of Frank's contract goons because she thinks someone torched Mason's house so they could cover up theft of the tape Conrad received along with the rest of the stash. Ryan asks who would do that as Victoria picks up her phone and dials Ashley, ordering her to invite Amanda Clarke over for tea and to not take "no" for an answer.

Conrad enters Charlotte's empty bedroom, calling out her name to make sure she's not around. He goes straight for her hairbrush on her dresser and slips the whole thing into a plastic zipper bag as he notices a framed photo on her dresser of him and Charlotte from happier times. He swallows his sadness and walks out with her DNA.

It's pouring outside at the docks and Emanda braves the rain with her coat's hood up and no umbrella. She reaches under a door mat, grabs a key and enters the Stowaway. Old, predictable Jack. Once inside the empty living space of Jack and Amily, she goes straight for a backpack and dumps her plastic bag of video tapes into it. In the process, she stumbles upon a note between Jack and Amily on Caesar's Palace stationery. Jack's handwriting: "Gone out to grab coffee and donuts and hopefully hit a jackpot. Love you, Jack" Under it, Amily's handwriting: "Gone out to find you. Love you more, Amanda" We can all empathize with how it feels when the love of your life goes on a romantic getaway to Atlantic City with a cheesy stripper who's pretending to be you. Emanda's on her way out when Jack appears behind her. He's not nearly confused/surprised enough to find her there, even less so when Emanda claims she was there looking for Amily. Jack reveals she's been summoned by Victoria, adding he doesn't expect it's for a good reason and shaking his head at the thought of what Amily's been through. Masochistically, Emanda tells Jack he must really care about her. He thinks for a second and matter-of-factly says he does before getting up to leave. Emanda has a little lapse and blurts out, "Hey, Jack... be careful." When Jack's face drops, Emanda regains her bearings and adds with an awkward smile, "... uh, the storm's coming in quickly," and leaves.

Cut to a close-up of a giant bowl of strawberries. An overhead shot cranes back to show the bowl positioned between two teacups and a scone on Victoria's coffee table with Amily and Victoria sitting adjacent to each other. Victoria notes the strawberries were picked from her garden this morning as Amily reaches for one and takes a bite. With a smile plastered on her face Victoria watches intently and asks, "So you're no longer allergic?" She follows up with an anecdote about Amily being rushed to the emergency room after eating strawberries at a company picnic. Flippantly, Amily says she outgrew the allergy. Well, in that case, have some crème fraiche, Victoria says, handing over a small dish. Amily puts some on a strawberry then gracelessly puts the spoon in her mouth like a stripper would and sucks it dry before placing it on the saucer with her scone. It's time to cut to the chase. Victoria wants to know why Amily would tell Mason she believes she had an affair with David Clarke and what she remembers. Amily fires back that she probably remembers the same things Victoria does. FLASHBACK: We get a replay of the night David whisked Victoria upstairs and she locked eyes with little Amanda who was hiding behind the couch. /FLASHBACK. Victoria claims her memory is foggy, but what she does know is that it's very likely Amily is behind the fire at Mason's house. Armed with info from Emanda, Amily accuses Victoria of the same thing. Amily gets up to leave and is ordered by Victoria to sit back down. Nuh uh. Amily's all, "I do what I want!" She leaves in a huff. A bit rattled, but perpetually smiling, Victoria calls out to Ryan, who was waiting in the room. He enters on his cell phone and hangs up before Victoria instructs him to snag Amily's spoon. He says he'll rush it to be tested for DNA right away, adding he just got off the phone with Conrad's lawyer. The paternity test has come back. Conrad is not the father.

It's the day at Grayson Manor. Outside, servants clean up the debris tossed about by the storm. Ashley walks through all of this and into the pool house. She finds Daniel sitting on his couch, buttoning up his shirt sleeves and staring at a ring box on the coffee table in front of him. Ashley gets through telling him that his mother warns Conrad and his lawyer are on their way over before she notices the ring. Daniel asks Ash not to tell his mother and asks if she thinks Emanda will say yes. Ashley gives a diplomatic answer and Dan calls her out for not sounding like Emanda's best friend. Ashley snaps out of it and tells Daniel he picked a lovely ring before he leaves the pool house with it.

The meeting between the Graysons and their lawyers has begun. Barbara points out that despite the test results Conrad has no intention of denying Charlotte her trust fund. Conrad adds that they are through with mediation, and responds to Ryan's concern about an ugly, drawn-out court battle by saying it's Victoria who will likely get the media scrutiny -- having had an affair with a terrorist and all. Conrad stands up and demands to speak with Victoria in private. Both lawyers object to this idea, but Conrad insists this isn't a request. Cut to Conrad and Victoria in the Grayson Manor office. There are two choices for Victoria: A) Accept a pittance from Conrad to avoid trial, or B) Go to court and reveal to the whole country that she had a torrid love affair with a terrorist and mothered his child. Victoria can't believe Conrad is willing to throw his own daughter to the wolves for the sake of his pride. He responds by reiterating that he will be sending Victoria an offer through his lawyer, and if she rejects it, she'll have Charlotte's blood on her hands. Conrad walks out, leaving Victoria to turn in agony and gasp for air. Ashley has been standing outside the window this whole time and seen/heard everything. She utters to herself, "Bloody hell." Because she's British and that's what they say when it's all gone wrong.

Stowaway. Amily is compulsively lighting all the candles at the bar. Jack mentions this and she snaps at him about him thinking she might burn the place down. He asks what's going on. She's been this way since she came back from Victoria and hasn't said a word about it. Amily finally breaks down about it and tells him that Victoria accused her of burning down Mason's house. Nolan sits a few seats down the bar and follows this development closely. Amily rambles until she starts to say too much about being advised by Emanda, so Nolan dutifully drops his glass and shatters it on purpose to put a stop to it. When Jack goes off to get a broom, Nolan beckons "Chatty Cathy" to come have a word, or rather... to zip it. Amily is fuming at being kept in the dark by Emanda. Nolan deftly pretends to understand her frustration and suggests she direct the questions to Emanda and leave Jack out of it until then.

Grayson Global. Charlotte swoops in to give her father a kiss as he sits at his desk. Conrad all but avoids it, stoically looking forward. Daddy's little girl immediately senses something's wrong. Her immediate response is to ask what Victoria did. In a stupor, he brushes off the notion, saying it's just that things are going to be changing a lot soon with work and he expects it won't be practical for Charlotte to stay with him. The thought of having to live with her mother sends Charlotte into a hissy fit, which gives Conrad all the ammunition he needs to manipulate Charlotte into thinking she's the one who's wrong. He yells at her that she needs to deal with it and she's not a child anymore, which sends Charlotte running off in tears.

Thunder rumbles while Daniel leads a blindfolded Emanda onto his family's yacht. He removes the blindfold and Emanda recognizes they're at the spot where they first met. A group of violinists and a cellist sit playing at the bow of the boat and a dinner table has been set up. This smells exclusively of proposal. Daniel starts in on his speech and raindrops begin to plunk on the boat. The musicians start packing up and the ship's captain brings Daniel an umbrella -- to which he adorably thanks him and says he's not stopping. A torrential downpour begins. Daniel takes a breath, and spits it out. "No one's ever made me feel as loved and as safe and understood as you do. If you let me, I'd like to spend the rest of my life making you as happy as you've made me." He gets down on one knee and transfers the umbrella to Emanda. "Emily Thorne, will you marry me?" Emanda is panting when she says, "Yes." She throws the umbrella aside and they kiss deeply. In an embrace, they both laugh maniacally to the sky and absorb the storm's rain.

Daniel and the soon-to-be Mrs. Grayson enter Grayson Manor drenched and giddy. Victoria catches the tail end of Emanda saying the rain was "perfectly romantic" and comments bitterly, "Romance is never perfect." Then, she adds cheerfully, "But don't let me rain on anyone's parade!" Victoria notes the couple looks like coconspirators. "Don't tell me you've --," Victoria trails off and then glances down at Emanda's ring finger. Daniel asks his mother to be happy for them. Her eyes widen briefly. Then, she leans in to kiss her son on the cheek, glances over at Emanda for a second, looks Daniel in the eyes to tell him, "Congratulations," glances back over at Emanda and walks off.

Stowaway. Ashley sidles up to take a seat to Nolan and orders a house vodka soda. Nolan's concerned. House vodka?! Ashley spills that she's ashamed she's been distancing herself from her best friend all summer and trying to weasel her way into Victoria's good graces only to find out the queen's reign is probably coming to an end. All Ashley has had to show for it is a psychotic Tyler, and now Emanda gets an engagement ring and the keys to the kingdom. This news catches both Jack and Nolan off guard. Ashley excuses herself to go drown in the "loo," which Nolan comically directs her toward, ignoring her supposed intent because he's still in a daze at the revelation of Emanda's engagement. Jack asks Nolan if he heard the news correctly, and Nolan confirms. Elsewhere in the bar, Amily pours a shot for a tough-looking guy who suggests she pour another for herself on him. Amily declines, but the guy persists, offering to give her a ride home. Amily reveals way too much info, telling him she's already home and she lives upstairs with her boyfriend. Tough Guy files that info away for later.

Daniel finds his father drinking alone at an adjunct to the lounge of the South Fork Inn. He was looking for Charlotte, but Conrad explains she's been sent home. Daniel reveals he's asked Emanda to marry him and they're now engaged. Instead of being happy for his son, he asks if Emanda's aware she's part of Dan's scheme to claim his share of the company. Daniel tries to appeal to his father's memory of his love he had for Victoria when they first met, but it turns into Conrad comparing the feeling to what he's sure his son thinks he's feeling now. Daniel points out he'd never treat Emanda how Conrad has treated Victoria. Genuinely hurting, Conrad replies, "No, no no, you say that, but you'll be at each other's throat in the end. You'll see. You'll cheat on her, she'll cheat on you and then one day you'll find out she's been keeping a secret so big it'll destroy your whole family." Daniel asks what secret he's talking about. Conrad suggests Daniel ask his mother.

Casa Emily. Emanda sits quietly on her couch hugging a mug of coffee with all the windows and doors open. Curtains swirl in the wind from another oncoming storm. There's a knock and Charlotte appears through the curtains of the French doors. She's looking for Daniel and is obviously a mess. Her voice breaks as she tells Emanda she's been kicked out by Conrad and she has no idea why. She has no way of knowing the meaning of what she's saying when she tells Emanda that she's never seen her father look at her the way he did today -- like he looks at her mother. Emanda knows exactly what it means -- another woman in Conrad's life who was supposed to belong to him actually belonged to David Clarke all along -- so she has to put her hand to her mouth to ponder what Charlotte has just told her. It happens to be Emanda's left hand, which means Charlotte sees the giant diamond ring. She asks if it means what she thinks it means. Emanda tells her Daniel wanted to tell her himself, and asks if it's OK with her. Charlotte: "You have no idea how badly I've always wanted a sister." Charlotte, don't make me cry, please; thanks. She grabs Emanda in a hug. Emanda cautiously places her hand on Charlotte's back, trying on for size the feeling of hugging a sister.

Grayson Manor. Ryan Huntley returns with results of the DNA exam of Amily's spoon, which by all accounts is the fastest DNA test ever. The test reveals a match between the samples of Amily and Charlotte, meaning they are half-sisters and Amily is who she claims to be. Victoria isn't pleased with this outcome at all. When Ryan breaches the topic of his service to Victoria and appears ready to resign, Victoria saves him the trouble and fires him.

Tough Guy rifles through Amily's backpack at the Stowaway and pockets all of the videotapes. Jack stumbles upon the guy and tries to stop him as he leaves, but gets socked in the face. Jack manages to get in a few good body shots, but Tough Guy ultimately kicks his ass, and then kicks him about five times while he's down for good measure. Amily and Nolan hear the commotion and come running in to find jack bloodied and unconscious on the floor.

Commercials

Nolan bangs on the door of Casa Emily, his blazer covered in Jack's blood. He tells Emanda what happened, and her immediate reaction is that Victoria is responsible for this. Nolan corrects her. She's responsible for this. She planted the videotapes. How much collateral damage is acceptable in her plan? Nolan tells Emanda she has Jack's blood on her hands, and her eyes well up with tears. She excuses herself because she has something she has to do. Nolan snidely remarks, "Don't you always?" Then, adds smugly, "Nice ring!" as he walks off. Fucking Nolan...

In the shadows below a pier, Emanda meets with Ryan Huntley. They talk to each other standing side-by-side like spies/informants are required to do. Emanda asks what happened because Jack was supposed to be off limits. "You were supposed to control it," she tells Ryan. FLASHBACK: We get a continuation of teenage Amanda accosting Huntley at his office after hours and asking if the Graysons got to him. Ryan reveals it was David who asked to drop the appeal when Huntley suggested their best shot was to pull Amanda into the trial. /FLASHBACK. Ryan adds that Emanda is lucky he intercepted the DNA test on Amily or she might be finished. She thanks him for that. Ryan: "You know I believe your father is innocent, but I can't be part of this kind of violence. Maybe you should reassess what you're doing here." He walks away and leaves Emanda to shed a tear.

We pan across Jack's semi-naked, broken body. Emanda is standing watch over him, taking in his injuries while he lies unconscious. She reaches out and caresses the back of his hand with the smooth of her nails. Though he can't hear her, she whispers, "I'm so sorry, Jack," and wipes away a tear. Cut to Amily quickly walking into the Stowaway with a bottle of peroxide. Emanda calls out to her from one of the bar tables, which stops Amily in her tracks because she's eager to ask a "gajillion" questions. Amily is all threats about trying to get info out of Emanda, but Ems is so downtrodden that she's more focused on gathering up her thoughts to tell Amily what she needs to know. She spills everything about David being framed and her plan to avenge him by taking everything away from the Graysons. Amily asks why she wasn't told sooner, and Emanda claims it was because she didn't want something like this to happen. It finally registers to Amily that the Graysons did this to Jack. Emanda implores her through tears to leave. It's the only way to save herself, Jack and -- if she still cares -- Emanda, too. Now understanding the situation, Amily has reverted back to being willing to do anything for Emanda. There's a new cell phone, fake I.D. and passport ready for Amily. Emanda is always a step ahead when it comes to faking an identity. Amily realizes the only loose end is Jack. She can't bear to say goodbye. Emanda assures she'll do it for her.

Daniel finds his mother sitting alone in the dark in the parlor at Grayson Manor. She asks how Conrad took the news of his engagement. About as you would expect, he says. Daniel gets right to asking his mom about the secret. She stalls a bit because she's worried her son will think less of her. After some coaxing, she finally spits out that Conrad isn't Charlotte's father. Daniel shifts back in his seat and asks who her father is, then. Victoria stutters David's name. FLASHBACK: Extreme close-up of steamy lovemaking between Victoria and David. /FLASHBACK. Victoria's eyes are closed and she rolls her head on her neck like she's totally reliving that orgasm. She says she was just trying to protect Charlotte from the truth. Ever naive and loyal, Daniel believes there must be more to the story than his mom banging a terrorist, and asks what David did to her. Seeing an opportunity, Victoria's eyes light up briefly and she insists she can't talk about it until Daniel gets what she's implying. He tells his mom he's so sorry and hugs her. She breaks down in sobs.

The storms have completely passed and it's a sunny day on the beach. Emanda finds Nolan sitting and sulking by himself, his knees pulled up to his chest. She asks to take a seat to him. "It's a free beach," he says. Emanda tells him Amily's gone. Nolan responds with venom. The ends finally justified the means, he snaps. Emanda says that despite this, she'll never be finished, but she realizes she needs to minimize the fallout. Maybe she needs to "press pause'" on her plan, and maybe marrying Daniel isn't the best way to get at Victoria. Nolan's shocked, and asks what she'll do. She figures she'll give Dan the ring back and tell him she needs to reconsider being a part of his family, which is entirely the truth in any case. Nolan smiles at the thought of something being true for once and looks over at the morose Emanda. He thinks for a second and gingerly puts his arm around her. "Don't do that," she utters. Nolan smiles as he retracts his arm from the unmoved Emanda. Best. Moment. Ever.

Declan brings breakfast in bed to Jack, who's finally conscious. Jack's first question is, "Where's Amanda?" This gives Dec pause. He tells his brother that she's gone. Gone gone. Dec hands him a note that reads: "Dear Jack, All good things eventually end and I want to leave before this does. Wherever I go, it seems bad things ultimately catch up to me. Thank you for the most magical summer... and for showing me you can always come home again. All my love... Amanda" Jack is completely confused. We tilt down to see there's one videocassette still under the bed.

Cut to Victoria placing the rest of the videocassettes into a safe. Charlotte enters the house and catches her mother's attention. Victoria apologizes for Conrad's behavior and asks to talk about it. Charlotte wants no part of that, so she runs upstairs. FLASHBACK: Close-up on a home pregnancy test with a positive sign. Victoria looks up from the test. She's standing on her balcony and watching the S.W.A.T. team still searching David's house. Conrad emerges behind her, so she hides the pregnancy test in a flower pot. He asks if she's OK, and she's decidedly not. Conrad insists that she knows what they did was right, and that he loves her. Victoria gives him a cold response and he turns to leave. Realizing her window of opportunity is closing, she turns to ask Conrad if they can be close tonight. Her eyes flitter with guilt and determination as he takes her hand and leads her into the bedroom. /FLASHBACK. Victoria's eyes are closed and her head rolls on her neck like she's totally reliving that orgasm. Her eyes open and slowly dart back and forth as she probably ponders how despicable she is.

Emanda watches Daniel sitting on her porch swing from around the corner. Emanda voice-over: "For some, commitment is like faith, a chosen devotion to another person or an intangible ideal. But for me, commitment has a shadow side, a darker drive that constantly asks the question -- how far am I willing to go?" Daniel turns and notices his fiancé. They exchange pleasantries about missing each other in bed last night and this morning, and Daniel apologizes for going to see his father, which he thinks was a mistake. He tells Emanda about Conrad not being Charlotte's father, and is so full of vitriol when he talks about David being the father that Emanda asks questions about why it's such a horrible thing. Daniel reveals that he believes David forced himself on Victoria. Sickened, Emanda asks, "She said this to you?" Daniel continues on to say that he would kill David himself if he could. Exhausted from all of this, Daniel says he doesn't want to think about it anymore and asks Emanda what dragged her out of bed early this morning. He thinks she looks like she's been thinking a lot, too. "How's June for the wedding?" she asks. "You still want to marry into my crazy family?" Daniel laughs to himself. Emanda: "More than ever." They kiss and Emanda stares over his shoulder in embrace with the vengeful gleam back in her eyes.
