"Ooh, Look, Honey! A Little Skit!"

This week's lesson: Gays love comic books.

1-14 Recap Fallout at Twelve O'Clock!
A Change of Heart - Brian's banned from his office because of the sexual-harassment suit, so he spends his time sulking about Gay PA, dispensing wisdom, common sense, and concern for others. No, we're serious. He also hires The Lesbian Formerly Known as Melanie to represent him, which gives her an opportunity to show her good side in an effort to get her name back. (Maybe next week.) Mike feels the need to sneak around behind Dr. Dave's back in order to comfort his best friend, and the good doctor doesn't take that so well. Elsewhere, Justin finally makes himself useful, Debbie and Vic prove that they can dance better than anyone else on the show, and Emmett has sex with a girl. Yeah, you heard right.

1-13 Recap Is Everyone Sharing A Brain?
Very Stupid People - Emmett's just not going to be gay anymore, and proves it by turning down sex with his favorite porn star; Brian sleeps with an overly ambitious newbie at work and doesn't expect trouble; and Melanie decides that the best way to resolve their problems is to cheat on Lindsay. Oh, yeah, and to top it all off, Michael accuses someone else of spouting bad dialogue. Honestly -- where do you start?

1-12 Recap Life Without Mikey
Move It Or Lose It - Mike's gone, so Brian needs someone to pay attention to him, dammit. Lots and lots of people, okay? Ted's game, because he's scoring Brian's castoffs. Justin's game, because he's Justin. Melanie and Lindsay aren't given a choice, but at least Brian's a distraction from their own problems. Elsewhere, Mike's moved in with David, but his stuff's not welcome to move in along with him; Emmett joins an ex-gay group because he promised God he'd give up men; Tracy keeps Camper's respect but loses a job; Daphne shows up for half a sec; and an HDGB SPEAKS! And, oh, yeah -- Harvey Fierstein's back. But is it for good this time?

1-11 Recap Surprise!
Surprise! - Ted runs into a past trick who's presently HIV-positive, but it's Emmett who might be in danger. Mike would rather forget his thirtieth birthday, but that's not likely, as Brian shows him that the best way to push someone off a cliff is to kill two birds with one stone.

1-10 Recap Y'all are Tripping
Queens of the Road - David introduces Mike to the Oldest Gay Couple in the World, but Mike's still hesitant to move in with someone he's only known a few weeks. When the penthouse gets robbed because someone forgot to set the alarm, Brian gives Justin five minutes to get the hell out. Justin then adds insult to injury by stealing Brian's credit card and running away to New York. Brian ends up going after him, but only after getting yelled at by the entire cast and a psychic dressed in drag. Mike, Ted, and Emmett tag along for absolutely no reason. Back at the Happy Fun House, Melanie and Lindsay face a money crunch, so St. L. decides she needs to stay home with the baby instead of going back to work. More logic.

1-9 Recap Daddy Dearest
Daddy Dearest - Melanie and Lindsay ask Brian to give up his parental rights. This leads Brian to seek out his own father, who's a total cliché, but not the one you're expecting. Emmett's stalked by his inner stud, and insists on talking to him in public. David invites Mike to dinner with his friends, and pretends not to notice when Mike acts like a complete idiot. Justin mostly gets yelled at to do his homework. Ted's present for show, which is more than can be said for Daphne, Debbie, or Vic. And hold onto your rainbow flags -- Melanie and Lindsay get to do the nasty. 'Bout time.

1-8 Recap Karma: It's not just a River in Egypt
Babylon Boomerang - Because of Brian's lack of accountability, he is now the proud owner of a seventeen-year-old boy. Because Justin's dad won't calm down, he is now a permanent resident of his wife's doghouse. Because Mike wouldn't come out of the closet at work, he now has a tougher job and a girlfriend; and because Camper had lost all hope for a truly good episode, they gave her this one. Dude, we're all screwed.

1-7 Recap Brian, Brian, Brian, Oy, Oy, Oy
Smells Like Codependence - Gay PA's obsession with Brian Kinney reaches new highs, as Dr. Dave can't get Mike's not being able to get Brian out of his mind out of his mind. Justin's dad breaks several assault laws because he can't get Brian having sex with his son out of his mind. Justin won't even try to get Brian out of his mind. Several people marvel at how hard it is for anyone to get Brian out of their minds, and Camper, Ted, and Emmett are left to wonder what the big deal is. Thank God for Harvey Fierstein.

1-6 Recap Nobody Loves Brian...
The Art of Desperation - ...and that will never do, so he fondles Michael in front of Dr. Dave, visits the Happy Fun House, and -- gasp -- hangs out with Justin at an art exhibit. Brian's met with mixed results, but manages to get laid anyway. Elsewhere, Ted decides that the best way to get over sex is to date ugly men, Melanie finally learns when to shut up, and Justin's mom continues to be supportive of her son, whether she likes it or not.

1-5 Recap Now Approaching...The Line
Now Approaching...The Line - A blackmailing client tests the limits of Brian's sexual amorality. Mike has a date with a dreamy chiropractor whose interest stops at the bedroom door. Justin's mom gets him to quit running, but not to quit being gay. Melanie and Lindsay almost have sex, but then remember that lesbians aren't allowed. Steven Weber guest hosts, but can Camper dutifully make fun of him while blushing like a schoolgirl? Some boundaries are definitely harder to cross than others.

1-4 Recap Ted's Not Dead
Ted's Not Dead - But he is in a coma, causing more personality changes than a full moon: Brian passes up anonymous sex and actually smiles a couple of times, Mike finally stands up to Brian, and Justin trades art for drama in a touching scene from A Streetcar Named Desire.

1-3 Recap A Miss is as Good as a Mile
No Bris, No Shirts, No Service - Beau Bridges hosts this very special episode, as Baby Gus almost has a bris, but not quite. Mike's co-worker almost pries his closet open, but not quite. Ted almost gets laid, and Brian almost doesn't...well, not more than once, that is. Wait a minute. Beau Bridges?

1-1 Recap These Folks is Queer
Premiere - Showtime's "groundbreaking" series about a group of gay friends in Pittsburgh is finally here, and although the disclaimer was almost as long as the premiere itself, Camper didn't fall sleep or throw things at the screen, so that's good. But there were lots of mostly naked men, and that's even better.
