Although the apology should really be coming from DirecTV and my TiFaux, because it messed up and didn't record anything. And I hadn't added this show to my backup TiVo yet. So, now it's there, and you guys won't have to wait this long without a recaplet again. I know everyone's thankful.
Dell's Drama (also known as Hannah from Everwood, and man, can she still cry) is having her baby, when an emergency happens and they have to do a C-section. Then the baby has problems, and since the adoption isn't final, they want Drama to make the decisions, but she wants the Sinclairs to make all the decisions since she can't have anything to do with the baby or she'll feel like the baby's mother. They quickly back out, then the baby gets healthy and they come back. Dell's pissed, and siding with Drama on keeping the baby. Naomi wants him to back the hell off. So, he does, and Drama decides the baby belongs with the Sinclairs, after all.
Violet's dealing with an agoraphobic mother, which somehow is meaningful to her because she just realized she's pregnant. In other words, being scared of leaving your house? Basically the same as finding out you're pregnant and not knowing who the father is. But Violet helps the woman get out of her car (it's a special kind of agoraphobia, apparently) to make it to her daughter's wedding, which must symbolize something about Violet's own fear of failing at being a mother, right? And then the agoraphobe tells Violet what a good mother she will be. It's quite ridiculous, but some slow music tells us we're supposed to cry or something.
Charlotte's still grieving and figures the best way to cope is to marry Cooper. Tomorrow. In Vegas. Without their families. Families are such a pain, with all of their dying and loving each other. Cooper loves her, and wants to marry her, but he chooses not to do it in Vegas, without their families. She says it's because Big Daddy's dead, which makes no sense because Big Daddy won't be there in Vegas, either; it will probably be Elvis or something. But she's grieving, so I'll forgive her that.
Cooper and Violet bond over their fears in a closet, reminding me why they should have ended up together. Of all the pairings they try on this show, these two crazy people have the most genuine chemistry in the world. Maybe there's some chance Cooper could be the father? Dare I hope? I know I'm supposed to feel sorry for Charlotte instead of wanting these two to be together, and I know they're best friends. But, come on, why can't you fall in love with your best friend?
In the most touching storyline, Joel Grey is getting homeopathed by Pete, because he's dying of the cancer. When he finds out he's going to die, he asks them to help him do it sooner. Which Sam is resistant to, at first, because of laws, silly laws (maybe you should practice in Oregon, then, where that's allowed). Anyway, Joel Grey is awesome and sad and he really does look like death. I hope that's all makeup and special effects. But it's really sweet and touching, because Joel Grey thinks he was never here now that he's going to die alone. It makes Pete realize how sad he himself is, all alone and single and childless. Even Sam, with his girlfriend who he's not even having sex with, has an ex-wife and a child. Hmmm. Could this be foreshadowing trying to tell us Violet's baby just got a father? Oh, and you guys, Tim Daly shows real, genuine human emotion, with tears and everything. And Sam's a really good friend. It's totally awesome, and everything I wish this show were more often.
Who am I forgetting? Oh, right, the star of this show: Addison struggles with her feelings for Wyatt and her lack of feelings for Kevin. She ends up confessing her indiscretion to Kevin, and then dumping him. She heads straight to Dr. Wyatt's office and finds her brother and Naomi having sex. There's no shame on Archer's end; he just turns and welcomes his sis to his new office. So, what, we lost Kevin and Wyatt in the same episode? How many love interests will that make for Addison if they bring in yet another someone (which I'm guessing will happen, given that Dr. Wyatt has his own show coming up)?

Want more? The full recap starts right below!We open with Addison sleeping across Cop Kevin's stomach as music that is supposed to make us sad is playing. Why are we sad? Oh, right, because Addison kissed Wyatt, and we're supposed to care about Kevin. I guess I forgot to. She wakes up and notices he's wide-awake, and asks what's wrong. He asks her if it's really just work, and she says, "You've got to be kidding," when what she means is, "No. I'm a big cheater. Did I forget to mention that?" He points out she was out late, didn't call, and didn't answer her phone. She's exasperated about how many times they've had this conversation. While she is lying, I'd be annoyed at the constant grilling too. She tells him she went back to the office for work, and she should have called. But while she says this, it shows us her going into Wyatt's office to kiss him. Kevin tells her he reads people for a living and knows she's leaving something out. She says she's telling him everything, but in her memory, Wyatt tells her to take her clothes off. Oh, and they have a blue tint in the flashbacks, but it's not like the flashback blue in Veronica Mars, but more like the way the vampires looked in Twilight, so Addison looks like the living dead. But she starts kissing Kevin to make him forget about it, which he seems to.
Addison and Naomi are in the hall at Oceanside, and Addison wonders if the reason Naomi looks so great (read: cleavage showing) is that she might have a date tonight. Naomi tells her mysteriously that it's not exactly a date, but she won't elaborate. She met a handsome male colleague the previous night. Naomi wants Addison to spill on whether she slept with Wyatt, and then Naomi will tell hers. Addison changes the subject to patients, specifically the mom they have in labor who is waiting while they talk about nothing. How selfish of Addison to change the subject like that.
In labor is Dell's Drama, Judy, whom I will always think of as Hannah, basically because I will take any excuse to think about Everwood. Dell's in there with her, coaching her through contractions, so at least she has someone since none of the Oceanside doctors seem to do anything, ever. Hannah wonders why the adoptive parents aren't here, since it's their baby. She wants the baby taken away quickly before she sees it, so she doesn't change her mind and want to keep it. It's time to start pushing, so Dell gets to let her push once. But then a monitor starts beeping, and Addison tells her the baby's stuck on her pelvic bone and that she'll have to push it back in and then get her to the hospital for a C-section. Hannah screams as Addison apparently puts the baby back in. Which, yeah, ouch.
