After a cycle full of Revolutionary War allusions, we are finally down to our ultimate two competitors! Yank Laura and Brit Sophie are put through the Cover Girl and runway show paces, per usual. The Cover Girl commercial and ad are focused on a product called "flipstick," because that's how things roll up in this joint. Sophie of course nails everything Cover Girl related with her bubbly, smiley, Illuminata self. We do, however, get to see how bad her skin actually is in some unflattering close-ups. Maybe this is subliminal messaging for Cover Girl cover-up? Laura, meanwhile, has a bit of a difficult time in her photo shoot, and then starts feeling very faint and shaky. She finishes out the photo shoot, but before she can get to her commercial line read she winds up on the ground, shaking even more and feeling like she's unable to breathe. She heads to the hospital, and ultimately is diagnosed as having a panic attack. She gets to shoot her commercial line read the day in the hotel penthouse, and requires no hospitalization the second time through.

Though Sophie appears to have come out ahead on all things Cover Girl, she falters in comparison to Laura on a Vogue Italia shoot. It entails wearing underwear, so clearly Laura is in her element. Tyra also gives the final two a visit in their penthouse, to make sage observations such as the fact that Laura's wild craziness is merely a mask that covers her pain. She notes that Laura's personal hell has turned her into a strong person. Since Sophie had such an idyllic upbringing, all Tyra can talk about with her is how Sophie's eyes are too far apart and that makes her a good model.

And then it is time for the runway show for Forever 21. You guys, it's so dumb. Dumber than ghost brides or the time Chantal almost killed that guy on stilts! Jay explains that this will be a holographic runway show, which has the girls interacting with lifelike images (though not of Tupac or Nat King Cole or anything cool like that), and walking in sync with an outline of their own bodies. This last bit sounded much more impressive than it was in practice, as it essentially was just a spotlight that the girls had to walk in. With Catherine, Eboni, Alisha and Annaliese to keep them company on the runway, Laura and Sophie walk with giant bows made of hair placed atop their heads and, in one case, a stuffed lion. Somewhere in the world, Andre Leon Talley cackles in his salon while seated underneath a giant photograph of Angelea. Eventually, Sophie and Laura have to have swordfights with hologram warriors, and pick hologram dandelions. I don't know, everybody. No one trips or faints or anything interesting like that, and no one sings a duet with back-from-the-dead-via-hologram Frank Sinatra. What a bust.

At the final panel, Laura's walk gets middling reviews while Sophie gets raves, feedback is mixed on both Cover Girl commercials, and Sophie gets the most love for her Cover Girl ad. In the end, Sophie wins, obviously. Tyra has already started teaching her how to have American swagger, thus ensuring a successful and enduring career as a former reality show winner.

It is the season finale! Hooray! After this we can all go back to doing whatever it is we do when we aren't watching grown-ass ladies wear fairy costumes inside of a life-sized perfume bottle. We're stopping, dropping and tooching our way to sweet freedom! But first, there is some business to take care of.

Last time, if you'll recall, British presenter slash model slash subject of Kelly Cutrone's nightmares Annaliese was eliminated, leaving us with our final two. Will our eventual winner be British model Sophie, the Oxford girl who was sort of gawky looking at one point in her life and also went through the near-unfathomable trial of WAITRESSING while trying to make it as a model? The horror! Can you believe the sheer amount of perseverance she must have had? Sophie impressed the judges with her catwalk, but Tyra claims that sometimes she struggled to stand out in her photos. I don't remember that as being true at all, but let's allow the show to create a narrative of strong walker versus strong poser. Can a Brit overcome the odds and win the title? I mean, yes, obviously, or why even have this stupid season?

OR is it possible that our winner will be Laura, the uninhibited, crazy girl from Scotia, New York? Laura talked about sex a lot, and also overcame a childhood full of stale-beer smell to rise to the forefront of the Top Model ranks. Laura zagged when the other models zigged, and was particularly zagalicious in her photographs. But will her questionable walk and wavering confidence affect her chances of winning? Only if she has a panic attack and passes out during her Cover Girl shoot. Um, spoiler alert. Tyra claims that this is going to be an unforgettable finale, which belies the fact that I am going to forget everything about it within, I'm guessing, a 48-hour window. You want memorable, you give me ghost brides.

We enter the episode with what is, in my personal opinion, the worst photo of Tyra Banks I've ever seen. And it's hanging on the walls of the model penthouse at the MGM Macau! She's, like, grimacing and pretending to play the American flag like a guitar. This episode was clearly edited by someone who hates her, which I'm guessing is all the editors. Sophie and Laura return home, very excited about being in the final two, and Sophie gazes upon her best-of-week photo displayed as digital art. The two finalists commence squealing and bouncing up and down and dancing, which they continue to do for much of this episode in lieu of having personalities. It's very strange. Sophie tells us that she's got the stronger walk, while Laura's got the stronger book, and there's no telling which way the competition will go. But Sophie's hair is freshly pinked, which seems to give her a bit of a confidence boost. Laura tells us that she never thought she'd do anything like this when she was younger, and gets to push herself further than she thought she could possibly go. She claims that if she wins, she can take the prizes and transform them into something that even Tyra didn't know was possible. Tell it to Saleisha.

Sophie and Laura squeal and jump their way to some Tyra Mail: "Tomorrow is going to be a blast! Fierce and love, Tyra." Sophie says that if it were the Cover Girl shoot it would be a bit more obvious, and is confused by the word "blast." Maybe in Britain they don't have the whole LashBlast LipBlast VagBlast ColonBlast line? And would you not kill to see the girls film a commercial for Cover Girl ColonBlast? "Enema? Enigmatic! Clear the room and make a statement with new easy, breezy, beautiful CoverGirl ColonBlast!"

The ladies head to a palatial setting, where Mr. Jay awaits. He tells them that their shoot today will be for Cover Girl's Blast Flipstick. Yes, I just said "Blast Flipstick." Stuff that in your flipstick and smoke it. Jay tells them that they've secretly been filming footage for their Cover Girl commercials throughout the competition, all candid-like and whatnot while they were living the glamorous lifestyle of a contestant in a reality television modeling competition. The winner of the competition will have her print ad appear in a national magazine. Jez Smith is back, and will be behind the camera for the shoot.

The girls head backstage for hair and makeup, and get to spend some quality time with their commercial scripts. Laura does a read for Jay, who tells her to try to be more relatable, like she's our good girlfriend, just hanging out and telling us all about how awesome the new Cover Girl Blast Flipstick is. Note to the boys out there: this is TOTALLY what girls do. I sort of mean that. She repeats the first line from memory, and it's a lot more natural. Sophie does a super-cute read, and Jay loves it. He tells her that she comes across as the girl that everyone wants to know. It is true that Sophie comes across as someone who would make an enjoyable companion for shopping or beer or whatever, whereas Laura reads more like a friend who you would ask to go with you to the free clinic.

Sophie is first to shoot her Cover Girl commercial, and tilts her head so we all get to look up her nose. Jay discourages this, and as Sophie continues to read the whole thing becomes delightful, particularly in the way that she says "naughty," like Simon who likes to do drawings. Sophie reminds us that she came in second once before, and it's total crap. She wants to make sure it doesn't happen again. We then cut to Laura's photo ad shoot. Jay tells her to always look into the camera, until he tells her not to anymore. He also reminds her that Cover Girl is no longer synonymous with sweet and girly, so he wants her to be herself. There's no need to be the bland vanilla Cover Girl of yore, because the brand is at least theoretically edgier now. The ad is of course for (f)lipstick, and Laura winds up doing this very clenched sort of pursed thing with her lips, which Jay tells her is not flattering. It's like the Hillary-Clinton-during-the-Monica-Lewinsky-years mouth, and no one wants that. Jay expected Laura to knock the shoot out of the park, because she's always so daring in front of the camera. During this shoot, however, she was nervous and self-conscious and not particularly impressive.

Laura tries to pull herself together, but at some point starts feeling very weak and faint. Jez notes that the pressure is getting to Laura, but tells her to remember that they're just taking photos and it's a fun thing. Laura does not look like she's having one bit of fun. As he gives her some direction, Laura starts shaking and sweating and is feeling generally quite sick. Jez tells her to take five, and talks very gently to her to calm her down as she says she's feeling very weird. She's quite embarrassed, and tells us that this is something that she's never before experienced. Laura finishes out the shoot, and Jez is impressed that she manages to come up with some great shots even though she was seriously struggling. Laura walks outside, and we close in on her as things become more dire. She's shaking and having trouble breathing, her vision is blurring and her chest is tightening. Jay comes over to her, and Laura is in such a state that she can't even talk. She lays down on the ground, shaking, and Jay calls for the medic as he tells us that he doesn't know what's triggered this reaction, but it's so severe that she has to go to the hospital. As we see Laura being taken away in a van, we head to commercials.

When we return, Laura is still in the van to the hospital, and rightly worries that she's not going to be able to finish her Cover Girl commercial. Jay tells Sophie what's happening with Laura as she shows up to shoot her print ad. Sophie is of course concerned, but keeps her eyes on the prize and knows that she has to get a good shot. She is her usual delightful self, and Jez tells her that the whole thing was fabulous. Jay confirms that they're not going to be able to shoot Laura that day, and doesn't know if they'll be able to get a commercial at all.

We cut to the MGM penthouse, where Laura has returned home from the hospital. She Skypes her parents and tells them that she was diagnosed as having a panic attack. Laura had never had a panic attack before, and of course it was quite scary. She's feeling better now, though, and says that once she gets some sleep she's going to go back to kicking ass. In case you were wondering, her parents don't sound drunk on the phone. Sophie returns home and gives Laura a big hug. She relates to what Laura has gone through, given her own panic incident when she had to stand on the rim of the Macau Tower. Though Sophie remains competitive, she actually likes Laura and so wants her to come through this and get back to her normal, orgasm-obsessed self.

Soon, there is Tyra Mail: "Buongiorno bellisima! Fierce and love, Tyra." Laura wonders if they're going to Italy, and looks quite stressed about the possibility. Of course they are actually just going on their photo shoot for Vogue Italia! Stylist Valentina Serra is on hand along with the ubiquitous Jez Smith, and they tell the girls that the shoot will be a hyper-stylized spa inspired theme. The winner of the competition will have her photos published in the magazine. Laura is on a mission to show her modeling mettle, particularly after the panic attack incident. Sophie is first to shoot, and Valentina says that she has an elegant and sophisticated shape to her, though on set Jez tells her that she's being a bit too modelly. He notes that she struggled a bit, and this style of shoot -- involving underwear, I guess? -- was not particularly suited to her. Laura is , and of course she's great at being half-naked. Valentina notes that she's perfect, like a dancer. She definitely prefers Laura to Sophie. Jez says that until today he would have chosen Sophie over Laura, but Laura has managed to tie things up with her strong performance in this shoot.

Back at the penthouse, Laura gets another chance to film her commercial lines. Because there's so much other footage that will be in the commercial, everything will likely fit together fine even with the change in setting. Laura is quite nervous, and even though she looks a bit wooden she finishes it all with no hints of a looming panic attack. Jay had started to wonder if she could handle the pressure of the competition and the fashion industry more generally, but now he believes she can push through anything.

And then there is yet more Tyra Mail! "Time to show the world the REAL you! Fierce and love, Tyra." Ha, and there's the ugly Tyra photo again! How did we get so lucky to see it twice in one episode? In any case, the girls know that they'll be heading to their Forever 21 runway show. They chest bump in anticipation as we head to commercials.

When we return, Tyra has shown up at the penthouse for a little pre-catwalk chat with each of the finalists. She asks Laura for details about the panic attack, and Laura confirms that it was the scariest thing she's ever gone through. Tyra asks if she thinks it had anything to do with the pressure of being in the final two, and Laura is like, "Duh." But she definitely doesn't want Tyra to think that she's lost her fight or given up. One of Tyra's life lessons is that often when someone is crazy on the outside, they're covering up some serious internal pain. Laura confirms that the mysterious pirate within herself is in fact covering up pain from her familial situation. Tyra probes for more details, and Laura again talks about how when she was young she would come home from school and everything just smelled like booze. At home, Tyra says, Laura had to be the caretaker because everything else was so chaotic. Laura tears up and nods, and Tyra tells her that some of the strongest people in the world have gone through hell. Like poor, bedraggled Sophie, having to WAIT TABLES for a living! The horror, the horror! Though Laura's trauma doesn't compare to removing dirty dishes from café tables, Tyra thinks that she's pretty strong for what she went through, too. Laura tries to make us believe that Tyra can relate to humans as a fellow human, which, dubious.

Tyra then goes to talk to Sophie one-on-one, and asks what she thinks her chances of winning are, particularly as the last Brit standing. Sophie says that the elimination pattern in the second half of the competition particularly showed that the judging was not biased in favor of the Americans, but she knows that Laura has always been her biggest competition. Tyra asks why Sophie sometimes is teary when she accepts a photo at panel, and Sophie explains that it's nerves and pressure and gratefulness and the whole nine. Tyra reminds Sophie that she's called Illuminata because she does light up a room, and has something that makes people want to get to know her. If Tyra was 21, she'd want to be Sophie's friend. What about if she was the age she is now? She'd just kick Sophie to the curb? She notes that Sophie is not cookie-cutter pretty, with her eyes that are a little too far apart and her too-short chin, but that's what makes a good model. Sophie tears up, likely because she's gone years thinking her chin was just fine.

With that, Sophie and Laura meet up with Jay to get the details of their final runway show. He tells them that for the first time in Top Model history, they're doing a holographic runway show. This means that they can just go back to bed, because they're not even needed. No, not really. They'll be interacting with lifelike images, and also walking in sync with the outlines of their own bodies. What this really means is a big spotlight blob, and it's not all that exciting in practice. But Jay tells them that it's all very difficult, and timing is key. Also participating in the final runway show are recently eliminated contestants slash decoys Catherine, Eboni, Alisha and Annaliese. Laura is excited to see Annaliese, but could give a hang about the rest of them. This is, of course, the last chance that Sophie and Laura have to prove that they have what it takes to become America's Top Model.

They head to hair and makeup, and Sophie chats with Annaliese, who claims to be filled with bitterness. Alisha tells us that if she had stayed in the competition the other girls would have been frightened, because of how she would have mashed them up on the runway and won the whole thing. I guess we'll never know. We also learn that the changes for the show will be really quick -- less than 90 seconds! Is that even possible? Someone from the show tells Sophie that if she misses an earring or a bracelet that's fine, she just can't be late getting out on the runway. Everyone has big bows made of hair in their hair, which is kind of great and kind of awful all at the same time. That's mall fashion for you! Jay gives the girls a little last-minute advice and pep talk as they await their cues to walk on stage, and Sophie explains that there's a lot going on and she'll be called upon to fight with imaginary people and also blow dandelions. It's a lot to deal with, everyone! Laura, meanwhile, is determined not to let the pressure take her over. As the finalists give each other some last minute encouragement, we head to commercials.

When we return, Jay asks Laura and Sophie how they are feeing as they prepare to walk out on the runway, and they are running the gamut between terrified and wonderful. Sophie tries to make us believe that she's the underdog in this competition, because of her British citizenship, while Laura reminds us that her runway walk is stink, stank, stunk. Still, she promises not to embarrass the judges for having given her this chance. And then the show begins! It first involves a short film of the 50-foot Tyra taking over Macau. And then there are lots of Tyras, all saying, "Tyra." This is our closest insight as to how Tyra Banks perceives the world. And then there's the real Tyra, telling the audience that they are going to be treated to one of the most amazing runway shows in Top Model history. You will note that throughout this show nobody says one word about the clothes. Thanks for your sponsorship, Forever 21.

Laura is out first on the runway, and her initial pass involves neither holograms nor swordfighting. She does, however, carry a big stuffed lion and sports a strange smirk. She's feeling confident, and gives the audience a little wink. Tyra approves! Sophie is out, and has to walk in her big oblong spotlight. She tells us that it might not seem very hard to stay in the spotlight, but you in fact can't see the light. But... that doesn't make any sense. Annaliese and Catherine walk and seem to do a passable job, and then poor Alisha can't manage to stay in the spotlight. I guess it really is harder than it looks, or else Alisha can't be bothered to give two shits. Jay tells her that if she's not in the light, nobody can see her. Maybe it's actually a good thing she dropped out before the finals. Laura does a fine job of walking in the spotlight as well, even with the giant bow of hair on her head.

Backstage it is total chaos, and Laura reminds us that they have very quick changes. We see Sophie standing like a doll as people take clothes off of her and put other clothes on. She describes the whole situation as mental. Sophie walks again, and though she stays in her big spotlight Jay notes that she forgot to put on her earrings. But we already heard that that was okay, and plus who can focus on accessories with big bows of hair in such close proximity? And then it's time for swordfighting! Several warriors pop up on the screen, and Sophie and Laura fight them, then take a bow. It's all very...whatever the opposite of riveting is. Maybe it was more exciting in person? Laura tells us that she's still a pirate, but has taken everything in this experience and learned and grown and become a better person. The girls have their big dandelion scene, in which they both walk out on the stage, meet in the middle, pick up dandelions, and blow projected puffy things all about. And then it's time for the finale! Kelly Cutrone looks bored. Backstage there is much revelry. Sophie tells us that she's been very consistent throughout the competition, and has no regrets. She couldn't have given the judges more than she did. Laura is going to continue to fight her demons, and assures us that this competition means a lot to her.

With that, it's time for panel! There are prizes, there are judges. The judges are Tyra, Nigel, Kelly and Jay Manuel. Can you believe that two of these folks won't be back year, and neither of them is Kelly Cutrone? And let's talk about the prizes. The winner will receive a fashion spread in Vogue Italia and appear on vogue.it. She'll also have a position as a celebrity guest correspondent for Extra, and a single produced by CBS Records. She will be the face of the America's Top Model fragrance, Dream Come True, and will be offered a contract with LA Models, which first signed Tyra one billion years ago, as well as New York Model Management. And of course, there's the $100,000 Cover Girl contract.

The judges first evaluate Laura's performance in the Forever 21 fashion show. Nigel says that she looked like she was having fun, but has to remember to enjoy the moment while simultaneously controlling it. Kelly thinks that Laura has a super cool rock n' roll personality, but looked like she was being forced into niceness on the runway. I would also add that she looked quite cheesy. In all fairness, though, she was blowing a holographic dandelion. Tyra has heard all about Laura's horrid walk, but thought she did just fine. However, Laura's side smoochy tooch booch pooch gooch smirk was a problem. The judges then look at Sophie's walk. Nigel says that she was elegant, strong, and aware of the audience. Tyra loved her body language while dandelion blowing, while Jay thought that she had a particular confidence with the samurai sword.

And then it's time to take a look at the Cover Girl commercials! Blast Flipstick, everybody. Blast Flipstick. I still don't understand what it does differently than non-flipping lipstick. Nigel says that it's one of his favorite commercials from all the cycles, and particularly likes Laura's candid moments that were filmed throughout the season. Anytime she's not looking at the camera, he says, she's stunning. When she is looking at the camera, however, it's too much. Tyra thinks that Laura looks tense, and like her lips are paralyzed. Jay asks Laura to talk a bit about her panic attack, and she confirms that she had one, and that she was embarrassed and upset that so many people had to worry about her. Kelly welcomes her to the fashion world, and notes that it happens. In a real modeling situation, Nigel says, she'd probably be swapped out very quickly for another model. Models of the world, learn this lesson: unless you were in the "Freedom 90" video, you are expendable.

Sophie's commercial is , and Nigel says that she has a great voice and was believable. However, he wasn't crazy about her candid moments. Tyra wasn't either, and expected more from Sophie's Illuminata self. Her read, however, was fantastic. Jay says that Sophie blew him away on set, and everything she did was cute and quirky. Kelly thinks that Sophie gives off a bit of an "Edie Sedgwick after the party vibe." But Tyra says that the super cute and likeable Sophie didn't show up in the candid moments of the commercial.

Then it's time to look at the Cover Girl print ads. Jay points out that, even though Laura was starting to feel the pressure of the competition, you can't see the panic or shaky sweats in her photo. Cutrone says that she doesn't really love the ad. There are two photos of Laura in it, and while Laura on the left is okay, Laura on the right isn't so great. Tyra likes Laura's sexy full lips, and her sass, and the twinkle in her eye. Nigel loves Sophie's eyes in her ad, which are focused and sharp and looking through the camera lens to the viewer. Cutrone says that it's a superstar shot, and that Sophie comes across as the hot, cool British model who can sell lipstick even with pink hair.

And with that, it's time for the judges to deliberate. Jay notes that this deliberation is unusual, because never before in Top Model history have they wound up with two likable finalists. Kelly adds that, even though it's her job to be hard on them, both of the girls have really grown and are incredibly beautiful. The judges take a tour back through Sophie and Laura's histories in the competition. First up are the photos from the very.com challenge, which is when both of the finalists started to stand out to Nigel. Laura had her rock n' roll element, while Sophie was like a modern Kate Moss to Jay. He says that she doesn't fall into the lineup of regular pretty girls, and Nigel interjects to say that Laura doesn't either. He points out her broken down doll Kris Kardashian photo, and tries to channel ALT as he says that he'd put this picture in his salon, if he had one. Oh Nigel, that was just sad.

Tyra asks which model is going to get booked, and while Jay answers that Laura will, Cutrone says that Illuminata Sophie will. She has special Illuminata jazz hands to go along with this declaration, because she is clearly losing her mind. Cutrone says that she'd pick Sophie for a casting before Laura, because Laura is prettier on film than she is in person. Ouch. And then the judges take a look at the music videos. Sophie was super sexy with her video Flipstick, and won Cutrone's heart. Tyra could tell that Sophie couldn't dance at all, but her presence was so strong that it didn't matter. Laura, by contrast, was snarly and weird in her stopping, dropping, and tooching. Then there was the silkworm shoot. Laura was sexually attracted to the silkworms, and it worked for her. This shoot was a rare misstep for Sophie, who just thought about her boyfriend cheating on her and almost cried through the shoot. Jay says that he'd rather have someone who is unconventional and can make some noise.

The judges then consider the Macau Tower shoot. Nigel says that Laura came alive, and he loves that she's willing to do whatever it takes to get the picture, which is inspirational for a photographer. Tyra points out, however, that Nigel said she was so crazy on set that he had to calm her down. Well this is the first we've heard about that! Apparently he was worried that she was going to fall off of the tower and ruin the dress. Nigel acknowledges that this is true, but says that even though you have to pull her back you get the magic. At Toronto Fashion Week, Sophie was memorable and the press loved her. Nigel says that she wasn't particularly memorable to him at the beginning of the competition, but the makeover transformed her. I guess that's what pink hair will do to you. And since Tyra renamed her Illuminata, she's shone. Kelly likes her persistence, and says that Sophie has a great "Little Engine That Could" PR story. The judges argue over who would make a better Extra correspondent, and Cutrone gives a point in Sophie's favor by saying that she's demure and not so crazy that she'd freak out a celebrity. She also wants to set up Sophie as Jude Law's new girlfriend. Laura's panic attack makes Tyra nervous, though Cutrone says that plenty of people in the fashion industry have panic attacks and they just have to figure out how to deal with it. Nigel argues that Laura has extraordinary potential as someone who is both beautiful and real, and people will go the extra mile to make her work. Tyra leads us into commercial by saying that America's Top Model...is either an American or a Brit. Well, thanks for that scintillating info.

With that, Sophie and Laura are back in the room and the judges have reached a decision. Tyra talks about their journey, and the fact that they're friends. Oh God, and then she tries to make a comparison to the history of the U.S. and the U.K., which were at battle during the Revolutionary War but are now allies. Maybe she also took a history class while at Harvard Business School. Unlike the U.S. and England, though, only one of these girls can be named America's Top Model. Will it be Laura, the rocking rebel girl who zags and marches to her own beat? Or will it be Sophie, the sweet girl who lights up a room and makes people want to befriend her? Laura says that her heart is racing, but not in a panic attack way. Sophie is awed at how huge this moment is. And then Tyra announces that America's Top Model is... Sophie, obviously. The panel erupts into jazz hands.

Tyra hugs Laura and says that she's amazing and is going to be a high fashion model. Laura is proud to have made it this far and gotten through all the crazy emotional stuff, and says that just because her face isn't on the winner's screen this time doesn't mean that it won't be on some other screen another time, hopefully not as a mug shot. Sophie then cackles as she tells us she never thought a Brit could be America's Top Model. Tyra offers to teach her some American swagger, and for some reason this is the moment that I really notice Tyra's crazy turtlenecked Linda Evans on Dynasty dress. Sophie tells us that she was the little girl from the countryside who went for Britain's Top Model, didn't get it, but kept on going. She got an agency, kept working and kept fighting, and showed that persistence pays off. We see photos of Tyra and Sophie clowning, and are out!

Thanks to all of you out there who have continued reading during this, the EIGHTEENTH season of America's Top Model! Now go eat a loaf of haggis and enjoy your summer! I'll see you in the fall, for the gonzo participatory action research season!
