Real World TV Show - Play It Again (And Again, And Again) - Real World Photos & Videos, Real World Reviews & Real World Recaps | TWoP

Mary-Ellis Bunim: What the hell was that crap about "The Incident"?
Jonathan Murray: Well, everyone kept referring to it in their interviews, so we...
Bunim: Are you trying to tell me you were worried about continuity? Since when have we worried about continuity? I refer you to page 274 in your handbook.
Murray: There's a handbook?
Bunim: [reading] "When editing the show together, just make sure that you get all of the sex and fights. If you need to use footage from the first day to put together a fight that happened on the last day, go ahead. In fact, we encourage it. And furthermore --"
Murray: You're totally making this up as you go along, aren't you?
Bunim: Ha! I had you going. There is no handbook! That would imply that we plan things out instead of just indulging our whims. Like, you know how we ended the last segment with both teams meeting? Watch this!

Even though the greetings were totally over before the commercial, now we get to see the Real World team running up again, and the Road Rules team coming in the gate again. In an interview, Kevin explains that Quarrel is a bitch. Sophia has clearly learned how to indulge drama queens from her time with Jisela, so she walks over and asks Quarrel what's going on.

ADDam and Mike jump into the pool in a belly-flop competition. In an interview, Malik explains that Rachel has a crush on Blair, and that Blair is a great guy. Rachel and Blair sit by themselves. Blair asks what Rachel has learned, and Rachel claims that she's learned to take care of herself. She tells Blair that Nicole and Quarrel intimidate her, and that she's trying to learn to stand up for herself with them. Blair listens sympathetically, because he's hoping to get laid. Good luck with that, dude.

Lori and Ellen have a little chat in some other room. Lori explains that she sees miscommunication going on, but that when she tries to mediate, she just gets sucked into the drama. Ellen pretends that's her role with her group, too, but we know better. Rachel comes in and tearily complains that The Bullies were teasing her again. What is she, four? Just tell them to fuck off, and walk away. In an interview, Lori says that she gets upset about how often The Bullies put Rachel down. Outside, Nicole confesses that she totally ignored Rachel's story, and she and Quarrel trade "wisecracks," such as, "You sound like a man!" and "You look like a man!" And they were accusing Mike of telling dumb jokes? Is this thing on?
