Hour One

At "midnight," I'm still watching the last five minutes of Buffy, the Musical, so I tune in just as this federal agent played by Kiefer Sutherland is called into an emergency meeting in his office because there's trouble-a-brewin'. Apparently, a black guy with a chance at the presidency is going to get killed by a terrorist sniper. Meanwhile, Kiefer's teenage daughter is also missing and out partying with two terroristsI mean, horny drug-taking teenage boys. And there's this guy on a plane and we think he's the assassin because he's all suave and European and keeps referring to the fact that he's got to "take a picture" of this black presidential candidate, but lo and behold it's his sexy but passive seatmate who turns out to be the real terrorist. She does him in the lavatory, steals his press pass, and blows up the plane -- but not before escaping in a parachute all sexy and stuff. Oh, and Kiefer is getting it on with one of his co-workers who is, like, the 47th woman in this cast who has short hair and really angular features reminiscent of a Leroy Neiman illustration. Kiefer is also warned of an agency insider in on the assassination by his boss, and there's more stuff going on to make it even more complicated, but you'll have to wait for the recap to hear all about it.
