Episode Report Card M. Giant: B- | 2 USERS: B YOU GRADE IT The Gods Must Be in the Tub

Mona takes this task on for the derby moms. By this time, Bates & Anthony are opening their next clue, which tells them to take their three Bushmen for a ride. Their passengers get themselves crammed into the very back seat of the SUV as the brothers continue down the road. I can only assume that the Bushmen were briefed ahead of time on what was going to happen to them today. Or else they're more accustomed to hopping into cars with Americans than one might assume.

Caroline's group excavates a scorpion that tries to make a run for it, but her lead guide quickly snatches it up. He proves to be rather a show-off, sticking the live thing in his mouth and everything. Caroline figures that this was to put it to sleep so she could hold it. He hands it over to her, still holding onto the barb, but a few seconds of interspecies bonding suffices for her before it goes in the jar.

Chuck & Wynona and then Pam & Winnie get to the clues near the waiting Bushmen. Wynona actually volunteers to do a Roadblock for the first time, and Pam's taking this one because of how Winnie hates bugs. As Wynona is led into the bush, she and Chuck interview that he's done five Roadblocks and she's done one, so they need her to catch up a little. Not that she's happy about it. I'm starting to suspect she was fully expecting to be gone by now. Of course, if it hadn't been for Dave's injury, they would be.

Caroline is back in second place and she and Jennifer start chauffeuring their team of Bushmen. Mona gets started digging, Joey continues to dig and Max is pretty much just making his hole wider. Pam and Wynona are on their way out to the bush with their respective groups. Mona's guides dig out her scorpion and after doing the mouth trick, her leader hands it to her by its barb and she cheerfully pops it in the jar. "I was petrified of scorpions, like, ten minutes ago," she says. Actually, she should maybe keep doing that. Max has unearthed one and is totally freaked out by the very sight of it, let alone when his guide starts giving it the oral treatment. Max gasps in horror, his mouth hanging open until he realizes he'd better close it before the scorpion ends up in there. Instead, he puts it in his jar, using his gloved hand. I bet he throws away that glove at the first opportunity. Pam is digging away, and Winona's guides are telling her to dig slowly so as not to kill the scorpion. Not understanding a word they're saying, she starts poking at the dirt with her stick. Mona gets back next, putting Max & Katie right behind her and Beth as the derby moms and Team Newlywed leave in third and fourth place respectively. Max tells Katie about the scorpion-in-mouth thing and says, "When I saw it I jumped like a girl." Max has not seen Joey's reaction yet.
