Commercials. Arm & Hammer is getting environmentally conscious. I think that's a good thing for arms and for hammers!

The Talon, daytime. The American flag waves. Inside, Davis is walking up the stairs to Chloe's apartment. I think the better move is to hold a boombox outside her window. Davis takes a deep breath. He bends down to put something in the mail slot (at least I hope that's what he's doing). The door opens suddenly. Jimmy is there. Davis awkwardly stands. Davis walks in. Jimmy asks if he's holding his RSVP because a stamp would have saved him some time. Jimmy says Chloe's not here. Davis reveals that he ran into Chloe in the city and that she acted all weird. He asks how things are. Jimmy says it's just a "temporary detour." "You really... love her... don't you?" Davis asks. Yeah... he kinda... does. Thanks for asking. Jimmy obnoxiously quotes Sinatra: "She's all I long for. All I worship and adore. You know what I mean?" Davis, a bit touched by the Chairman of the Board (by proxy), says he does. Davis says he won't be making it to the wedding. Jimmy says that unlike some members of his family, he won't enjoy putting Davis's name in the "Regrets" pile. Jimmy reaches for the RSVP. Davis awkwardly keeps it to himself (it's a love note!) and asks Jimmy to tell Chloe he won't be coming. Jimmy says he will. Just before he leaves, Davis stops at the door. He tells Jimmy that Chloe is an amazing girl. "Take care of her," he advises. After Davis leaves, Jimmy whispers to himself, "That's what I'm trying to do."

Kent Farm. The cows are back! Praise be! I thought we'd lost them. Clark and Chloe are walking upstairs in the barn. "Brainiac always has an objective!" Clark declares. Maybe that's because he's a computer? Isn't that called programming? Clark asks if Chloe remembers anything from the morning when she lost her memory of Jimmy. No, Clark. That's why it's called "memory loss." Chloe says that every time she tries to think of someone she's lost, she gets a wave of Kryptonian symbols. As Chloe writes something down, Clark surmises that Brainiac is replacing her memories with Kryptonian data. Chloe says one symbol keeps repeating over and over. She shows Clark what she's drawn. It's that weird Decepticon-looking thing. Clark says it's the symbol for "Doom." Boosh! Chloe wonders if Brainiac is trying to send her a message. Was there also a symbol for, "Oh, and don't forget to pick me up some milk on your way back to Kandor"? Clark says that whatever Brainiac is doing, they need to stop it. Clark says that Jarnelle created Brainiac. When Kara lost her memory, Jarnelle restored it. He thinks he can take the giant blue crystal to the arctic and restore the Fortress of Solitude. Good plan, Clark. Remember what happened last week? Clark pulls out the crystal from its little case and holds it up. I'm not sure even touching that thing is wise at this point. Chloe thinks Jarnelle might also strip Clark of his powers or drop an ice castle on him. Clark says it doesn't matter. He has to do this. Why, again? Chloe, mad, says this is exactly why she didn't reveal things to Clark sooner. She says she knew Clark would "Fly off" without thinking of the consequences. I think you left out a word or two there. "Fly off the handle," right? Oh, wait, it was a lame anvil. I get it now. Well not-played.
